Hello guys! I am finally back to be more consistent with my posting💪👯‍♀️⠀ ____⠀ I finally understood why a lot of people struggle to keep an healthy eating lifestyle when life gets busy🤭⠀ ⠀ The past 2weeks have been extremely hectic and stressful for me. Everything was happening at the same time and I had to keep up or give up. ⠀ ⠀ I will be honest, it wasn’t easy at all eating healthy consistently. At time I would just grab whatever I happen to have close by (which most of the time was either junkish 🍫🍪or corn 🌽crackers). ⠀ ⠀ Over the past weekend, I stopped for a moment and pondered over the whole situation. I came to realize that eating healthily doesn’t have to be complicated. I mean, that’s how I have been eating for the past months right?⠀ ⠀ Small changes were to be made, or rather should I say remembered:⠀ 1️⃣ Eating simple is key: I made the meal above in less than 5min. So no excuses to not eat healthily.🥗🍲 ➡️ is your body worth you investing 5min for a healthy meal? I think yes!⠀ ⠀ 2️⃣ when in doubt of what to have for breakfast on the go, think DATES: dates are full of nutrients and simple sugar that will help you go about your day with all the energy you need! ➡️ fruits such as apples 🍏or bananas 🍌 are also a good option ⠀ 3️⃣ Nuts 🥜 are always a good option if you have no time at all ( and I mean no time for real) to grab something proper to eat. I am someone who NEVER takes pre-workout, because I simply believe I don’t need it, (because I’m young fit and am already full of energy) I’ve been working along side of @fit_pharmaceuticals taking their supplements and i can 💯 % recommend taking their pre workout. A shot of the forbidden Apple 🍏 had me buzzing, motivated and able to bench 10kg+ what I normal lift on Monday’s chest day, AFTER working a 9hour shift. I will continue using their supplements as I’ve noticed a lot of positive changes in my training routine and weight lifting overall.

Mel Robbins, one of my favorite personal development speakers, had an interesting, but so true point. As adults we have to parent ourselves. We are never going to feel like doing anything. No one is going to make yourself do anything. We have to push ourselves or we will never reach our dreams. Wow, what a tough love slap to the face! But I love it! I think back to all the times I let opportunities go because I didnt feel like it, even though I knew it was best for me. Going to bed and getting up early, ya no thanks. I was notorious for staying up too late and suffering the consequences the next day. Choosing healthier foods over junk 80% of the time... how about never! I used to get Chinese take out, Chilis and Applebees Curbside To Go on a regular and I didnt pick anything remotely healthy. More like the 3 appetizer combo or cheese fries for dinner. No wonder my stomach was tied up on knots! And working out... HA! I would always have an excuse why I couldnt go to the gym after work. Im tired. Its been a long and stressful day or I dont have time. I still struggle with making excuses for the feelings I have. But Ive been able to parent myself better ever since I joined this virtual community. A community that not only holds me accountable, but also recognizes that we are all human and extends grace as well. Ladies, fall is officially here. That means holidays, parties, football games, etc. and all the 🍗🍔🥧🍪🍺🍷 that come with it. Want to get through this last quarter strong and begin 2019 ahead instead of further behind? My ass was humbled as f*ck during my workout today. I mentioned in my story that I’ve been all over the board with this specific workout. I’ve been at a point where I couldn’t finish it even modifying and then I’ve been at a place where this is my warm up...and now I’m somewhere in between...it wasn’t easy but I could absolutely do it all! Here’s the thing though. All versions of this workout are beautiful and humbling... so no matter where you are, as long as you have a body that CAN move, you can choose to move it 💪🏻 So take some time to fill up your cup today if it’s empty...or maybe just breathe and remember you do have a cup that can be filled ❤️
