Focusing on the week ahead like 👀 Had some free time today to plan my week. 😊 Planned when I am going to workout 💪🏋️‍♀️(not what I am going to do as I tend to just do what I feel like at the time!), made some meals/snacks in advance🍏🥗 and sorted out my work to-do list✔ At this time of year its more important than ever to make a plan for your week and prepare ahead when you can because 🌲🎅 xmas is coming up fast and very soon your calendar will fill up with events!

The thrust is a MUST! My favourite Glute building exercise and the best! Have replaced heavy squats (Quad focused) with heavy hip thrusts (Glute focused). I am reaching full extension of my hips as my quads are bigger it looks as though I am not at full extension. DO NOT hyper extend the hip just to get it level with your chest. This exercise requires focus, control and max effort in each rep to feel it in the glutes. Chin tucked into chest and looking forward into the mirror to make sure I’m reaching the height at which my glutes are reaching full tension. > 105kg for 15 reps, 4 sets. W/ 8kilos of resistance from the band. Lately, ive realized that progress isnt always shown on the scale, but in your measurements! In the past, i was OBSESSED with the number on the scale, and id beat myself up if it went up or didnt change at all. This brought up the idea of tracking my progress in a different way, MEASUREMENTS 📏 November 1, i started measuring EVERYTHING; glutes, thighs, calves, waist, arms. This is where i see the changes and the progress. In 17 days, my waist has lost 3 inches. Which is BIG for me, because the number on the scale wasnt going down, but the inches are. So if youre like me, and get upset about the number on the scale because youre putting in all this work towards your goal, head to the dollarstore and get yourself a measuring tape. 2$ is what is making all of the difference in my confidence at the gym and with my progress!
