DUMBBELL TRICEP EXTENSION 💪 . Keeping my forearm and the force coming from the weight AWAY from being parrelel to each other keeps the muscle under tension and doesnt let me rest at the top of the movement, which would be the case if my arms pointed straight up towards the ceiling at the end of this exercise. . Put simply, if you are lying this way ⬅️ on the bench, try having your arms angled like this ↖️ at the top of the movement instead of like this ⬆️ at the top of the movement. . Add in this angle in next time you do this exercise (if you arent already) and let me know how much difference you feel 💪 Since I read about this the weight had to come down but I could feel immediately that I was working my #triceps way harder . ....and apologies for the awful gym music 😂 I didnt get a say in that . 📛 Rocky está viejito y sabe de lo q habla. Cumplir años es jodido 📛 Yo q ya supero los 40, tengo más fuerza q cuando era un chaval. Pero esto es así pq en los últimos años he cambiado mis prioridades y modificado mis entrenamientos para q se cumpla dicha condición 📛 Peeero si hubiera hecho las cosas bien desde el principio ahora estaría mejor 📛 Hoy voy a hablarte de lo q considero q es prioritario si quieres mantener la salud y una buena calidad de vida durante todo tu ciclo vital  1⃣ Moverse: Me ha costado mucho recobrar mi movilidad tras pasar tantas horas sentado en mi anterior trabajo. Créeme, sé de lo q te hablo. La mayor parte de las lesiones q tendrás serán por tu falta de movilidad. Camina, estira y moviliza tus articulaciones todos los santos días de tu vida 2⃣ Respetar al Sistema Nervioso: estrés constante, escasez de horas de sueño y entrenamiento “no pain no gain”. Esto es lo habitual para la mayoría. Lógico q las enfermedades cardiovasculares como los infartos sean la principal causa de muerte de este siglo  3⃣ Nutrirse con comida real. Tus células necesitan nutrientes de verdad. Prioriza lo crudo añadiendo tantos vegetales como sea posible. Si alguien te dice q la fruta engorda, x favor, NI PUÑETERO CASO  4⃣ La densidad ósea aumenta  con tensión mecánica, es decir, entrenando la fuerza. Y si eres mujer esto te interesa enormemente, pues a partir de la menopausia, con la disminuición de los estrógenos, el hueso se desgasta a marchas forzadas. Entrena desde ya y acumula todo el hueso q puedas antes de q sea tarde. 📛 Si al leer esto te has desmoralizado no te preocupes. Tengo alumnos q han empezado a entrenar la fuerza con 80 años y todos han mejorado su calidad de vida. Empieza ya, AHORA MISMO, sea cual sea tu edad y te garantizo q tu vida mejorará exponencialmente.
