🇺🇸You know me I had to😂 First real #workout in two weeks and a half, I just did a bit less volume and lighter and managed pretty well. Today I am all sore everywhere. Was a bit worried about snatch grip pull because I stalled on them right before going but finally it went pretty well considering I didn’t lift anything heavier than maybe 275lbs of band tension. Got 3x4 and 3x3 at 400lbs. Let’s go to 440 🙏 🇫🇷Tu me connais il fallait bien 😂 Première séance après deux semaines et demi, ça a été dur j’ai fais moins de série et un poil plus léger dans l’ensemble. 🌈 WHEN YOU AREN’T SEEING RESULTS ⇣⁣ ⁣ I’m going to start off today’s discussion by saying this:⁣ ⁣ “One bad day isn’t going to make you fat. Just like one good day isn’t going to make you shredded”⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Something that we have been talking about a lot lately is consistency. We need to be consistently GOOD, in order to see the results we are trying to achieve⁣ ⁣ ⁣ But something we never talk about 🤔is consistency on the other end of the spectrum – ❌being bad❌. As a society, we ❕unnecessarily❕ beat ourselves up when we have a bad day and are nowhere near following our plan.⁣ ⁣ I say ‘unnecessarily’ for a couple of reasons⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #1 Ask yourself: How often does this happen?⁣ • Maybe once a week or once a month?⁣ • Are you CONSISTENLY falling off the deep end every single day?⁣ •Probably not.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #2 Ask yourself: Is beating myself up helping?⁣ • For some, it’s a way to motivate themselves – there’s nothing wrong with that.⁣ • But it you are saying to yourself “I’m a failure, I’m a loser, I quit!” How is this helping?⁣ • It’s not.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ So when you have a bad day, you HAVE to let it go! Having one bad day inconsistently is not going to make you FAT! B M I (B O D Y M A S S I N D E X). . The first picture is of me doing a presentation at university, in this picture I was my highest weight of 163lbs (11st 9lbs). I was unhappy, unhealthy, unfit and uncomfortable. The next picture is of me before the gym weighing 10st 8lbs (148lbs). I am currently the weight in the second picture, I am a healthy weight, so much fitter and happier. . In the first picture my BMI is classified as unhealthy. It was 27.1 and the NHS class this as being unhealthy and overweight. . A healthy BMI is between 18.5 - 25. I am currently 24.7 and that is classed as a healthy weight. I never understood what BMI meant and the importance of it until I read about it and educated myself about it. . The NHS say that by being a healthy weight and having a BMI between 17.5-25 you are at a lower risk heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes than if you were overweight or obese. If you are interested in finding out your BMI go into the NSH website, it takes less that 20 seconds to fit out.
