#LexStoneAuthor Week 10. Day 3. #calisthenicstraining and #cardiovascular workout today. Started with #cycling On level 12 and burned 300 calories in over 31 minutes. After that 400 #hindusquats , 200 #hindupushups , 200 assisted #backbridges. Dont know but felt more uneasy today and a bit uncomfortable. Had to walk around for a bit after the push ups to relax my arms. As usual didnt give up and pulled myself trough the pain. After the full body calisthenics workout, back to cycling. Cycled again on level 12 and burning another 300 calories in over 31 minutes again. Felt so relieved getting of that exhausting bike ride. I dont know how the tour de France guys do it. But I respect them much much more now. Hats of to you all bike riders ! Driving home with exhaustion but with the confidence that I am making things happen to my body and mind ! 🥳 Not ready to commit to macro tracking? You need the 80-20 Rule 🥳 - I will NEVER be somebody that restricts clients to a specific diet. Why? Because it makes no sense. - Picture this. You’ve decided you want to drop a few pounds and you already know that this means your nutrition is going to have to go through a bit of an overhaul. So you do what everybody else says you need to do. Eggs, chicken, rice, vegetables. All day. Every day. - I guarantee even reading that you’ve already decided you don’t want to do it, and even though you haven’t even started yet, you’re already counting down the days to when your cheat meal is. - So you get to your first cheat meal in weeks. And you know that this is rare AF so you’re going to eat every single last possible bite (and dessert please) even though you’re bursting. Because who knows when you’ll get this food again, right? - So you’ve binged. And now you’re guilty. And now most likely you’re saying fuck it for today/this week/this month because you’re already in the hole. And now you feel like a failure. Again. - I 👏🏼 HAVE 👏🏼 BEEN 👏🏼 THERE 👏🏼. And surprise. It doesn’t work. - This is why I love the 80-20 Rule. *Like I always preach, this rule will still only work if you’re in a calorie deficit.* - The rule basically states that you eat healthy 80% of the time, with the other 20% being your fun and favorite foods (never label a food as “bad”, that will mentally screw you up). - This 20% ends up most accurately equaling 1.5 days per week or about 4 meals in 7 days. - This rule is great for those ladies who are not ready to commit to counting macros, and is more of a “mindful” approach to weight loss. So yes, you can have that piece of cake that one night. - BUT. This rule is not an excuse to overindulge. You’d be surprised how fast 20% adds up. Three slices of that chocolate cake is definitely no longer 20%. - This is a great way to get a jump start on your fitness journey on the nutrition side of things as it is less of a controlled environment; and you should most definitely still be pairing this with adequate exercise. - Still spots for my FREE 10 Day Fit Blitz Challenge. OVERHEAD MOBILITY DRILL! - - If you struggle with achieving proper alignment on overhead movements, you need to give this mobility drill a shot! The goal is to utilize very low impact movement to increase stability & range of motion (AKA you can do this even if you’ve had significant shoulder injuries 👏🏻) - - When doing this movement lay face down and raise your hands & elbows off of the ground to shoulder level. Maintain this distance from the ground as you move through the range of motion shown in the video. Be sure to take it SLOW! 🐢

💥 You never know what you can do unless you TRY! 💥 Why do I post my workouts? This is just a snippet of what I do. I actually rarely bring my camera with me when I workout. My time is limited and I just don’t want to mess with video taping; I’m there to work and train. When I run, I only have my phone with me for safety reasons (not even for music!) and I may take a quick pic after a run, never during-it’s disruptive to the workout. 90% of the time, my workouts are just for me, not for IG. But when I do post, it is to encourage and to inspire you to do something different. I don’t do cookie cutter routines and moves.
