Talking heel-elevated squatting with coach @ypsi_stuttgart @cleanhealthfitnessinstitute . . Some of the awesome insights taken from our breakdown of squatting in general include; - Wolfgang ALWAYS starts his clients with some degree of heel elevation when squatting and progressing from there (goal/client dependant). - Elbows under the bar to allow for a more upright position. - Heel elevation of 15cm is the highest he will get a client on. - A split-squat is NOT a unilateral exercise. - Sprinting will enhance glute development as much as any thing else. - The overhead squat assessment is a great tool for assessing mobilty. - Neural fatigue from a lift can sometimes take 3 weeks to recover from. . The biggest take home from this though is a simple quote he said a few times - what, when. Referring to what method/excercise to use at what time. Something that I believe is crucial in optimal performance and maximizing progress. Something might be great to implement normally but perhaps not the right time for it and vice versa... . Wolfgang is clearly one of the best in our industry and its not hard to see why. Blown away by his knowledge!

•Physique update• I can tell I’ve gained muscles throughout my body compared to earlier this year. I want to lose just a little bit more body fat and continue building my upper body strength, a bit more quads and a while lotta glutes🤓. Worst Deadlift session ever 😂 Because NYC I dont have practice Deadlift since...1-2 month (ok not only because nyc 😇). So, I comeback on this movment but the bar isnt a competition bar, it switch on my hands... 3 X 3 repetitions with 190kg and I think 200kg is ok. Next week 200kg x) And the most important I train totaly raw. In french (sorry) because so tired 😩 Jhabite dans un coin vraiment sympas. Cest à côté dune banlieue qui na  pas des paysages vraiment hyper fun, mais le.soir pour aller courir cest vraiment top parce que le paysage prend des couleurs parfaites. Et les bâtiments,  les infrastructures deviennent totalement différents. Là on est au niveau des voies ferrées, elles sont banales mais la nuit, plutôt au crépuscule, elles deviennent vraiment magnifiques.
