MECÂNICA DA CONTRAÇÃO MUSCULAR: . Sempre que um músculo recebe um estímulo nervoso gera uma contração que pode ser de dois tipos: isotônica ou isométrica. . Na contração isotônica , a força gerada pelo músculo é superior à proporcionada pela força de gravidade e à resistência dos segmentos esqueléticos nos músculos aos quais está unido, o que provoca a contracção do músculo e a sua consequente aproximação ao segmento esquelético que movimenta. Como tal, os exercícios isotônicos são os que produzem contrações que proporcionam os movimentos corporais, ou seja, são os realizados para movimentar o corpo. . Por outro lado, na contração isométrica, a força gerada pelo músculo é inferior à proporcionada pela gravidade e resistência dos segmentos esqueléticos aos quais se encontra unido. Nestes casos, como o músculo aumenta a sua tensão interna em vez de a reduzir, não origina qualquer movimento. Como tal, os exercícios isométricos são os que provocam contracções que, embora aumentem a tensão muscular interna, não proporcionam os movimentos do corpo. . Apesar de os dois tipos de exercícios serem benéficos para a musculatura esquelética, os isotônicos contribuem para o desenvolvimento do volume, força, potência e resistência do músculo, enquanto que o benefício dos isométricos passa pelo aumento do tónus e da força muscular. . Os exercícios isométricos são muito fáceis de realizar, pois não necessitam de qualquer material ou acessório especial, pois apenas consistem na contração de dois músculos de ação oposta ou antagônica em simultâneo, como por exemplo ao juntar as duas mãos e tentar estender um antebraço, enquanto se tenta contrair o outro. . Os exercícios isométricos costumam ser indicados para prevenir a atrofia muscular, em caso de imobilização de um segmento corporal ou em caso de indicação de repouso absoluto. Além disso, são muito úteis como complemento de praticamente qualquer tipo de treino. Todavia, é preciso ter em conta que, como podem provocar aumento da pressão arterial, são contra-indicados para as pessoas hipertensas. . 🔥3 exercises for a ridiculously STRONG overhead press!🔥 . When it comes to building your overhead press, you might be thinking sure, just press more! While pressing clearly has a place in your routine, most people cant build their press because they spend TOO MUCH time pressing! If you have weak muscles around the shoulder joint your body will develop compensation patterns when you press. This means you can progress to a point, but not much further because youre just dancing around the real weakness. To combat this youll need to add in accessory exercises to build up those smaller assisting muscles and really accelerate your pressing strength! Start with these 3 and watch your press strength go through the roof! 1️⃣Pull-ups. Yep - building your pull-up strength will increase your pressing strength! Pull-ups build strong lats and a strong back in general - A strong back is the foundation of your pressing strength. Make your base more stable = press more weight overhead! Add 3-4 sets of max pull-ups to strengthen your lats fast! 2️⃣Rolling DB Tricep Extensions. Having a set of strong triceps will allow you to push and lock out heavier weights. You may feel your triceps are pretty tight after doing an overhead pressing session because they are a key mover in the press. I like to use a decline bench and hold the dumbbells together (takes the pressure of a current shoulder injury of mine), but you can also use a flat bench and separate the dumbbells. Use these as an auxillary exercise after your main pressing work to burn out the triceps. 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps. 3️⃣Crucifix Sled Drags. These are a FANTASTIC exercise for your rear delts, mid back and rhomboids... basically everything that holds your shoulders in the optimal position. The best part is they are super simple to do, you just need a sled and some straps (go lighter in weight when you start doing these because they are surprisingly tough on those smaller muscles.) Try these as a warmup before your upper body work, and also as a finisher on the same day. 3-4 sets of 30m at a time will do the trick. Are you currently working towards a stronger overhead press? Jen tire que du bon. Voilà, cest la fin du concours. Je ne savais pas si jallais lannoncer sur Instagram et puis, je me suis dit quil fallait aussi montrer les échecs et essayer den ressortir plus fort. Jeudi dernier, je passais le Luc Léger. Je suis arrivée à lhôtel près du concours vers 1h du matin. Levée à 6h pour aller se présenter à 7h30. Lépreuve commence, jai le rythme parfait... Et au palier 7,30, lexaminateur se lève et me dit Stop. Là clairement, je comprends pas pourquoi on ma arrêté, je demande des explications... Tu as mordu la ligne, cest éliminatoire. Les larmes montent mais fière comme je suis, je nai pas pleuré. Et pourtant, lenvie était là. Je me suis retrouvée avec un 6/20 sur cette épreuve, de quoi plomber tout mon concours. Pour être honnête, je ne voulais pas me présenter aujourdhui pour les dernières épreuves. La seule épreuve que javais travaillé, cétait le Luc Léger et je me suis vautrée. Des mois de préparation qui partent en fumée pour une pointe de pied sur une ligne... Épreuve et règles à la con ! Ça ne révèle absolument pas mon niveau en cardio. Finalement, il ma fallu quelques heures pour redescendre et pour décider de pas abandonner. Je passé toutes les autres épreuves aujourdhui, je termine avec un petit 14 de moyenne générale. Alors non, ce nétait pas ce que javais prévu puisque lors des entraînements, je terminais à 16 minimum. Mais je suis fière de ne pas avoir abandonné et dy être allée tout en sachant que cétait sûrement mort pour moi. Le niveau est haut et il y a peu de places. Heureusement, je nai pas besoin de réussir ce concours pour vivre ma passion. La seule différence entre un pro et un volontaire, cest que lun en a fait son métier principal. Sur intervention, ça ne change rien. Jattends quand même les résultats, tout nest pas perdu mais je ny crois pas trop. Something I’m passionate about is re wiring the mind and repairing broken fuses, finding areas that have been buried deep and forgotten and wakening them up. Most of us won’t look deep within because it forces us to look at our faults and the fault can’t be fixed if ignored. One fault can be the answer to fixing the whole system . “Some People Hate Bright Light! When we find the courage to go deep into our minds, we can locate what specific fuse blew in our brains to make us settle for a mediocre life. That blown fuse might be some insecurities resulting from deep-rooted childhood memories or because you look or talk or walk different. That blown fuse could be fear of failure so you stay in your box where you are comfortable. There are so many ways to blow a mental fuse! Life is fucking relentless that way and....it’s supposed to be! No one is coming to save you so it’s up to you to go into the circuit box and locate the blown fuse. Finding the blown fuse is easy, too bad it’s not as easy to fix as the one in our house. To fix the blown mental fuse, we need the willingness to change the way we think. More often than not, we change the external and superficial things- our clothes, cars, hairstyles, etc. Very rarely do we change the way we think. Sadly, nothing happens without that fundamental change. I needed to re-wire my entire circuit box to finally make a bright enough light to brighten up my once dark path. Once you fix your fuse or, in my case, many fuses, your light will shine brighter and brighter. That bright light will start to reflect off of people that want to stay in the dark. Those people will hate, resent and judge you to no end! They will try to make you blow another fuse so you can rejoin them in the darkness. Some people can’t move on and get passed whatever is blocking their way. It’s not your problem! Move on and with your bright light help shine the path for those that are trying to find their way out of the dark. The darkness can be very powerful only if we know how and when to turn the fucking lights back on” @davidgoggins

As a #triathlete I am all too familiar with #injuries but including a proper #warmup in my #training routine helps ward them off to a great extent. I imagine my body as rubber band that works and stretches better when warmed up rather than a cold one that would snap apart easily. Heres just one of the 3 warm up routines I make sure I do before a #run because #running is when Im most prone to injuries. A strange thing that happened to me after this 75min #treadmill run was not a muscular injury but bleeding toes on both my feet. Tight shoes? #blisters ?? Foot slipping in shoes??? All I know is, its time to get me a new pair of #shoes because I really really wanna have pretty feet because even though its very rare but I do love to put on a pair of heels without having to worry about my ugly toes.
