THIS is the dream life. 🦄 👋🏼😭✌🏼 Right now — Ryan’s not working because he’s devoting all of his time to the LSAT. Currently whipping us up breakfast / we just took our progress photos. Can’t wait to share!!! 🔥 Anyways because he’s not commuting to work + clocking in 40+ hours a week at the office (yet) — we get to spend a lot of time together + we absolutely love it. We are actually living out our dream life. 🎉 Sadly this reality isn’t going to last forever or at least not yet. In fact, it will come to an end shortly after he completes the test on November 17th. 📚 The fact that working full time from home and one day bringing him home too is an option for us is my driving force, it’s what fuels me, it’s why show up. I have this big scary goals to both work from home one day on our own time with the freedom we have now. I always tell myself, “I never want to gave to get a job” or enter the corporate world. I want to graduate college and retire in the same year. 😉 And the best thing is it totally possible for me and it is my WHY. ✨ It’s why I show up. It’s why I make sacrifices. It’s why I choose to invest in myself, my business, and my future self. It’s why I will one day live this life all over again and it will be because of the hard work and grit I put in today and every day till then. #hardworkfeelsgood

When it’s Tuesday but it feels like Monday 😑 needing all the coffee today and truly all the motivation. Wanna ride the bike today after work and I’m gonna do everything in my power to get that done!

A lot of difference in my opinion! Not only physically but mentally as well. I only look back to reflect and see how far Ive come. _ The first bbg workout I did took me 47 minutes instead of 28. When the timer first rang during the first circuit, I was so demotivated and I wanted to stop right then. But then I thought what did I expect, I hadnt worked out at all in 2 years. So I ignored the timer and finished all the circuits on my own time instead. I wasnt going to let a timer decide when I was done so I kept going. One of my first goals then was to be able do 1 entire circuit in 7 minutes and the whole workout in 28 minutes. The last 21 months have changed my life so much! . I know the focus should always be on #MindOverMatter but, 1. My wardrobe 👚👖has gone from oversized tees and trousers of size 8-10 L to more oversized tees and leggings of size 2-4 S-XS😱 2. The feeling of going to a fitting room doesn’t stress me anymore. 3. I am the HEALTHIEST I have ever been, eating a balanced diet, feeling energized throughout the day.🌿 4. I can run for over 10 miles non-stop, do 20-30 jump squats, push-ups and hey, tuck jump burpees!☠️ 5. I am proud of who I am becoming and feel confident in my own skin🌸 Finally, 6. I have ditched the all-in or nothing mentality and make daily efforts to put my health (physical and mental) as priority. 7. I’m grateful for the woman I once was. I am proud of her. One of my favorite snacks ever is POPCORN 🍿 there was a time when I thought that popcorn wasn’t healthy, and that I could never incorporate it into a healthy lifestyle! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Little did I know, that air popped popcorn is high in fiber and a great low calorie snack! I like to make mine on the stovetop, with a little avocado oil. Im so embarrassed to even post this before and “in progress” pictures of myself. In the first photo is the day I started bbg just 13 weeks ago. I was so disgusted with myself. I hated that I had let myself go yet again since having Emma and Mason and I knew I HAD to make a change. Mostly having that extra weight on was controlling me mentally which naturally was affecting my mental health. I’ve always been the girl who cares about her looks but mostly bc it affects me mentally. Look good, feel good is always something I’ve told myself. I’m in my tenth week doing @kelseywells #pwr program. But I’m in my 13th week using @kayla_itsines @sweat app. I can say doing this program has changed my life. It’s a lifestyle not just a fad diet or “challenge.” I look forward to completing each week of my workouts. I feel a sense of accomplishment that I never felt before. Although I’m beyond embarrassed of the girl on the left who WAS me. I’m proud of the girl on the right who’s striding to be the best woman, mother and friend she can be. We’re on vacation and I have a few extra minutes this morning so I decided to get a short workout in. When I’m on vacation I usually do 2 things. 1. Check out the workout facilities where you are staying online before you get there. They should hopefully be similar to the pictures. In some places I have been they have been way off but at least you’ll have a feel for what’s there. 2. I decide before I go if I’m planning on working out or not. This vacation is a family vacation and we are walking literally everywhere so before we came I decided if I could fit a short workout in great. If not no big deal. That way I know my expectations and goals before I even leave. I really don’t like machines like the one I’m on today but it was either that or a bike that didn’t work so when you aren’t in a familiar gym you can’t get picky! Set your expectations then stick to them. If you want to workout on vacation go do it. Don’t let yourself down!

This is a little bit of a different #transformationtuesday story. I’m actually 10lbs heavier in the most recent picture (although you could argue that I look healthier), so it’s not about weight loss (or the fact that my hair is now closer to its original shade 😆). It’s about a mind shift that has happened over the decade that exists between these two pictures. 10 years ago, I went on the @tyrabanks show to talk about my weight loss. I was 29, pretty new to being a mom and had lost the 60lbs I had gained during my pregnancy (and then some). This opportunity to be on national television gave me the chance to share my experience in the hopes of inspiring other moms that they didn’t have to be confined to pants with stretchy waistbands for the rest of their lives. I was also able to dispel the myth that just because someone loses a lot of weight, it doesn’t mean they did so unhealthily. While I have never had an eating disorder (like Tyra asked about in the clip, SWIPE to watch) and had lost the weight gradually through calorie-counting and taking up running, my mind was not in the right place at that time. I was super focused on numbers, and even though part of goal-setting and progress includes some of that, I let those numbers steal my joy on more than one occasion. When the scale fluctuated, so did my happiness and positive feelings about myself and my body. There were so many things that contributed to this mindset. Growing up, I was always a little overweight, and I could never “see” myself as being a thin, healthy person. In my mind, no matter how much weight I lost, or how my body changed for the better, I always focused on the areas that I felt still needed some work. I looked to the models in the media as a woman’s standard for body shape, and of course, no matter what, I consistently fell short of that unattainable goal. So what changed? Reminiscing about this amazing salad I had from @cafelandwer not too long ago 🤩❤️ Your girl is salad obsessed and I am always trying out new ones!🤷🏽‍♀️😊 A tip for keeping salads and bowls actually healthy while out is asking for the dressing and/or any sauces on the side. Also try going for grilled chicken made without oil instead of fried/crispy chicken. October is already halfway over and I’m starting to think I may have dropped the ball on my New Years resolutions.

Let’s go with an old picture! Today I’ve focused on myself. I stayed home from school and started my morning with some oatmeal and series. Then I spent 1,5 hours in the gym to work on the back and biceps. And now it’s time for some studying! I totally needed this. To stress down. As you know I’m struggling with mental illness and to be social active and performing in school everyday can be tough. So I’m proud that I could take a day off and to study from home instead! The most important thing in my life is my health, both mental and physical. And so should yours be! You are the only person you’ll have to live with your entire life. So take care of yourself and learn to love being YOU! You deserve to be your best version! ❤️💪🏼🌟

Happy #transformationtuesday 💕 Before I type up this long caption, I wanted to thank @kayla_itsines, @kelseywells, @froyotofitness, the @sweat team, and all my #fitfam members that I’ve been fortunate enough to meet through this community. I am so grateful to be connected with so many like-minded individuals and am in the best shape of my LIFE. I couldn’t have gotten this far without you all! As many of my followers know, I completed two rounds of Kayla’s #BBG, then stopped, tried my own thing, then tried MaryKate’s #ftfmovement, and then tried Kelsey’s #pwr. All of these programs have a lot of GREAT things in common: they’re structured, they have a great community behind them, and they’re led by strong and amazing women! I’d recommend ANY of them to ANYONE. Just find what fits your lifestyle and your goals best! Right now, I’m in week 4 of Kayla’s #bbgstronger and absolutely love it. The program is 28 minutes long, it incorporate weights unlike its bbg counterpart, and, without fail, it ALWAYS get me sweating! #transformationtuesday Same weights, different body composition. Fat vs muscles 💪🏼 I used to weigh myself daily, hoping to lose weights by doing silly diets. I came across to @kayla_itsines #bbg 2 years ago and seeing other ladies @bbg_community #bbgtransformation is so unreal. I thought if they can do it, I surely can do it too. Well, it’s definitely not as easy as I thought. I started BBG 1.0 very determined and week after week I lost my motivation. I stopped at Week 8 because Week 9-12 look like hell I’m going to pass out. Few months later, I seemed to find a different energy so I decided to restart BBG 1.0. Again, I gave up in Week 8. My 40th was coming closer and I was determined to look good so I decided to give BBG 1.0 another go. I was overjoyed when I finally completed it, I felt I can accomplish anything. Fast forward to 2 years later, I can say I’m still determine to be healthy inside out. The lifestyle change isn’t drastic but necessary. I make sure to have time to exercise 3-4 times a week. @sweat app is amazing, it has so many exercises you can choose. My focus now is to build muscles so I switch to @kelseywells #kelseywellspwr. I’ve been having problems with my left ulnar nerve and I can’t follow #pwrprogram 100%. It’s frustrating but I’m doing my best to stay in shape #thestruggleisreal.
