No matter what I do I just cant seem to GAIN weight. Im eating all this food and the scale just wont go up. - 🙋‍♂️That was also me once upon a time. When I first started training I wanted to gain weight & would take the typical fitness magazine advice of shoveling in egg whites at breakfast, chicken and rice at lunch and I dont even remember what else. It sucked I know that much. - 😁The fact is if you arent gaining weight, you simply arent consuming enough calories. I get messages all the time from people that are frustrated by their lack of weight gain. And I totally understand. But I promise you friends, it doesnt need to be so difficult. - 🤷‍♂️How about instead of chowing into chicken, rice & vegetables every day, you make up a delicious smoothie with several of the above options. - 🥜Ill give you an example.. this afternoon I made a shake that had 2 scoops of protein powder, 15 almonds, 2 tbls peanut butter, 2 tbls coconut oil and some almond milk. Throw it into a blender with some ice and youre good. It had almost 1000 calories in it, it was delicious and it wasnt overly filling. - I guarantee if you replace a couple of your bland chicken meals with something like what I just mentioned, youll be slapping on the pounds in no time. - Hope this helps some of you! EMBRACE THE HATE! It is a jealous world. For every two people who rejoice in your victories, there will be an individual who burns with jealousy over your achievements. My father once told me with his thick Arkansas drawl, “Son, people will forgive you for most anything except for success.” I often questioned what I thought was my father’s cynicism, only to learn later he was pretty much on the money with his analysis. You can make them fit in any calorie scheme and make them wonderful for each and every goal. These two are some great recipes to try. But remember, these are WITHOUT any toppings. So if you want to add any, make sure you add them up and count them towards your daily calorie intake. But here go some recommendations: For fat loss top them off with no calorie syrup, or a little bit of honey and berries, like raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. For weight or muscle gain top them off with honey or peanut butter, extra fruits and nuts. Melted dark chocolate or dark chocolate chips are a great idea as well. Everyone were talk about how hard to do meal prep by meet the results of loss weight, yes I know it is not easy to stay on meal plan. I learned that create your own meal preps are saving a lot of money than spending any bad frozen dinner tv. If you think grocery shopping cost high price for your meal prep, you would want to thinking how much did you spending last time that you bought junk foods, unhealthy meals, and processed foods. . Meal prep is the best thing to save your time when you arrive home and too tired for cooking after you done your shift at work. You don’t have to be worry about anything to do meal cooking time to be ready for eat. You already have meal prep and put it in a microwave until it is ready for eat it. . What I am have in my meal prep is: -7oz chicken with chipotle sauce. -a cup of fresh steamed broccoli -a piece of sweet potato. . I have eat of that for often to helps me get ready for race day. Sometimes, I have switch from sweet potato to white rice, so it doesn’t have to be same meal for all a week. I always eat different meal from what I cook for each day to helps me maintaining my muscles and loss weight. . When you are start to meal prep, you would want to following the nutrition and what meal you should cook for your fitness goal. #Repost @musclemonsters ・・・ Protein Sources by @musclemonsters _ Protein is a molecule that is made up of a wide variety of amino acids. Some of these amino acids are the building blocks of muscle proteins. Some of those “building blocks” must be obtained through food—these are known as essential amino acids. _ Different foods consist of different combinations of 20 different amino acids, and some combinations are more potent than others. Nine of the 20 are considered essential because our body does not produce them naturally, therefore we must consume them. Out of those nine, three are considered branched chain amino acids (BCAA). Out of those three, one is the most powerful and important nutrient for building muscle: leucine—an essential amino acid that plays a key role in initiating protein synthesis. _ This is why I highly recommend that a good deal of your protein consumption come from foods with a high leucine content (as see in the High Protein section of this post). This is not to say that you should opt only for the High Protein sources—in fact, if you’re getting enough protein in the day you’re not likely to be deficient in any of the nine essential amino acids—but it’s certainly something to consider if your goal is to maximize muscle growth. _ Although these foods do contain leucine in higher amounts, this essential amino acid is present in most of the other protein sources that we consume regularly. _ If you want to ensure that you’re maximizing muscle growth, I’d advise two things: First, and most importantly, get enough protein.
