Where does the time go 😳 Sunday’s are the only days I don’t have time to eat 🤷🏻‍♀️ doesn’t help that I like to sleep in on a Sunday 😂 yea so defo not an ad.. who would want me as a protein ambassador 😂 but yea so for anyone interested in protein shakes, they are literally just the protein macronutrient but a faster way to consume than eating meat etc. And many shakes are lower calorie. So if your under your protein goal but don’t have enough calories to eat enough meat to hit it, protein shakes are an easy fix. Made some froyo bites the other day that were delicious and came out to 72 calories each. Thought I’d share the recipe with ya guys! Divide one cup of lemon greek yogurt into 4 silicone muffin liners. Press 2-3 blueberries into the middle of each. Grind up half a graham cracker and layer atop each. Place in freezer for 3-4 hours. Before eating, remove from freezer and let defrost for approx 2-3 minutes, otherwise you might chip a tooth. 😆 They turned out yummy and really helped with my craving I’ve been having for froyo without all the calories. Omg, so good and only 208 calories!!!!! 8 TBSP Egg whites, 3 slices Canadian bacon, ff cheese slice, 1 cup steamed broccoli, spinach, 2 TBSP ff sour cream, 1 TBSP salsa and topped off with TJ Everything but the bagel seasoning. If you haven’t tried @tumaroswraps run, don’t walk and buy some. These low carb wraps/tortillas are only 60 calories, 7 grams of fiber and 4 net carbs. I put them in a hot frying pan with Olive Oil spray, turn them over a couple times and they get warm and delicious. SWIPE FOR PIC and Nutritional info on wraps. I buy mine from Hy-Vee but I heard Target sells them too. They come in many different flavors. I gotcha covered 🤓 ⠀ 👅Truthfully, you can eat whatever you want, but in my experience, a combo of protein, carbs and caffeine usually works pretty well. ⠀ 💩My go-to is usually coffee and a banana or protein bar, cause I’m usually on the go and don’t have time to make a legitimate meal. It’s totally up to your preferences, but I would recommend eating carbs, which are great for giving you energy for your workout 🔥 ⠀ If you’re a numbers person, here’s a general range to aim for, depending on your goals: ⠀ ✅ Protein: 20-35 grams ✅ Carbs: 20-50 grams ✅ Caffeine: optional but very helpful ✅ Timing: 1-3 hours before your workout ⠀ 📖 Keep in mind, these are just guidelines. The best advice I can give is to listen to your body. Usually your body will give you signs during your workout if you prefer a bigger preworkout meal or a smaller snack. You don’t want to feel like you’re gonna throw up, yet you want to have enough energy to get through the workout. ⠀ ⏰You can always adjust portion size depending on when you consume your pre-workout meal. I used to eat 200-300 calories for breakfast and lunch. Then, dinner came around. I was starving and I would eat everything in site. Due to that, I would feel extremely guilty, but the cycle would go on.
