More reps and less chill... pumping it up @liftonicnyc with @mrcourtneypaul working on those biceps and triceps and giving those abs the ultimate crunch. At liftonic you are encouraged to fail, focusing on proper form but pushing increased weight and maximum reps. Instead of rest, each set was followed by an ab focused active recovery exercise, so not a minute is wasted. I recommend following the @cpxperience to its new home in meatpacking! Now its home for me to get @inspiralized with a zoodle-beet noodle pasta swirl with garlic, cherry tomato and mushrooms.

major #tbt to some two ladies spending the last holiday in our childhood home which my parents are moving out of today! So many great memories, but I know even more are to come as they move into new digs which will be filled with many wine nights and mimosa mornings. Feeling the need to throw some one two punches and get myself out of this week long coma (anyone else super exhausted this week?) I made my way to @overthrownewyork where the basement was on fire thanks to @u_bash _jungle (and the heat) who threw out combinations utilizing speed, power and defensive moves and sweat filled cardio drills. After convincing my partner I could take harder hits haha, I am feeling the pain with a major upper body burnout to match my lower body hangover courtesy of @mrcourtneypaul and lower body @cpxperience With a coconut milk @starbucks redeye and @evokefoods peaches and cream pb muesli I am ready to knock out (pun intended) this Thursday and head into what I hope is a relaxing, rejuvenating weekend.
All my morning necessities ready for todays hump day visit to @yg_studios There are no words to describe the ass kicking 50 minutes of @cpxperience which should have been labeled legs, butt, legs, abs, legs, shoulders and did I mention legs! Lets just say Im glad I scheduled boxing tomorrow because thanks to @mrcourtneypaul the ability to sit, stand or move will be limited. One thing is for sure if you are looking for an amazing strength based workout, look no more... I guarantee no the matter the day you will love sweaty and sore. To recover I packed my usual pb spiced pear paleoats loaded with my favs from #purely_elizabeth @vega_team @siggisdairy and @justins I think I have this combo at least once a week, but when something is so good, why not keep going back for more!

Happy sweaty-saturday! After enjoying a delightful sweet potato breakfast bowl in bed layered with cinnamon smashed sweet potato, @siggisdairy vanilla yogurt, @questnutrition crumbled waffle cereal bar, banana and granola, I and fueled for this mornings @cpxperience Saturday calls for a non conventional workout and only @mrcourtneypaul could get the sweat flowing and heart pounding with strength training and body weight movements. With three more days in January, my goal to get back to my wellness roots has so far been successful. It wasnt about losing weight or going all in with a new lifestyle, it was about getting back to a healthy balanced lifestyle including laying off the weekday drinks, enjoying healthy filling dinners and focusing on pushing my body in new ways focusing more on strength training and bursts of cardio to shape my body. With all that said I am off to enjoy a brunch burger at Rubys as an end of the month #treatyoself

Love starting a Friday morning getting sweaty and letting out a weeks worth of steam on the bag @titleboxing.nyc Greg Taylor definitely threw out some power punch combos coupled with intense all out rounds to get that heart rate soaring. I always try to focus on different aspects of boxing with each class and knowing intense cardio rounds were ahead, I used each combination as a chance to focus on power and really knocking out each punch. With my arms officially out of commission I am struggling to lift my spoon but with my @evokefoods overnight pb&J muesli awaiting, I think I can muster up the energy. TGIF which means a night of wine and popcorn, and hopefully an early bed time so I am well rested for a Saturday sweatday with @mrcourtneypaul

Who would have thought? Loving this sauce of fire roasted tomato, Italian spices, crushed red pepper, balsamic vinegar and avocado! Sautéed with mushrooms, roasted pepper, beet noodles and shrimp, with a side of balsamic truffle glazed roasted acorn squash. Cant beat a great couch time weekday din in 20 minutes after a few sick days and great morning workout @cpxperience
After two days out of commission I could not get out of bed quick enough! Figured the best way to jump back in was with a hump day visit to @ygstudios for @cpxperience Today was ironically not about the booty but instead back, chest and lots of ab work. Starting off with a jump rope tabata to warm myself up before @mrcourtneypaul proceeded to burn out my upper body. Not a bad way to get my heart rate soaring and thrown back into my routine! Waiting for me post class is one of my favorite oatless oats combinations: chocolate banana pumpkin spice. First layer is @vega_team vega one chocolate cinnamon oatless oats; then @siggisdairy seasonal pumpkin spice; @purely_elizabeth pumpkin fig granola; banana and lastly a dollop of @justins vanilla almond butter. Now I just have to muster enough a strength to lift my spoon...
No other way to celebrate ones victories than with a bottle and bread platter! Girls night out success means a sluggish morning but nothing could keep me from the rise and grind, all about balance. Enjoyed my Saturday morning breakfast in bed with a bowl of smashed cinnamon vanilla sweet potato and chia seeds topped with banana, @siggisdairy blueberry, @purely_elizabeth blueberry hemp granola and chocolate pb2. Then, I was off to @ygstudios to get in a full body workout with the man himself @mrcourtneypaul Continuing in my goal to really focus on strength training and ween myself off the cardio binge I was on, @cpxperience turns weight lifting into a sweaty heart racing workout making traditional methods of cardio unneeded for extreme cal burning. Post booty popping coffee and protein chaser needed!
Monday mornings can be a little crazy especially when you spend it with @mrcourtneypaul burning out your butt, legs and abs @cpxperience Starting out with a pre-class 5 minute jump rope sequence, and then wasting no time hitting the booty bands, and enduring endless squats, walking lunges and leg lifts... well, hello Monday! Ive spoken before about the power of heavy weights and reps, and yet again without traditional cardio I still managed to rev up my heart rate and calorie count. Treating my muscles right with a double dose of protein 1/2 a @questnutrition brownie bar before digging into my pb banana and raspberry jam oatless oats mixed and layered with all my favorites: @vega_team @purely_elizabeth @siggisdairy @justins If you have to be at work on a freezing cold Monday might as well be enjoying an amazing (healthy and protein packed) breakfast.... I know I have an obsession!

Lunging and riding my way over this humpday with a double! Started off my morning getting my legs, shoulders and abs burned out @cpxperience with @mrcourtneypaul I have been searching for the perfect way to describe this strength based training class and I have tentatively been referring to it as strength training on speed- working with weights and targeting different body parts and muscle groups at a high intensity and fast pace. For those seeking an alternative to standard lifting I recommend you head to @ygstudios and give it a try! After going heavy, recovering with a double dose of protein: post-class @questnutrition double chocolate bar and late breakfast of PB Banana and J paleoats. My pb&j obsession has been in full force lately and packed with 30 grams of protein, this is great to rebuild muscle and also fuel up for this afternoons lunchtime ride @swervefitness with @slaw823 ....anyone down to ride?

Another visit to @ygstudios in under 12 hours. While last night’s event was all about HIIT-ing it up with @laceystonefitness this morning was weights, weights, weights…and a bit of abs. @mrcourtneypaul had us BURN out our biceps and triceps with a mix of heavy weights and going for maximum reps for @cpxperience Arms and Abs day. It feels great to mix of my routine and really focus on strength since I tend to be a bit cardio obsessed (Though I did add in my own jump rope warm-up and finisher (I mix in timed jumps and tabata timing) for a bit of cardio). And for those who say strength training doesn’t burn cals I have to attest my watch clocks in the same active calorie count as most circuit based classes and the count continues (at a higher pace) throughout the day! Ready for a green smoothie bowl loaded with protein and healthy fats for muscle recovery. No better way to get over the midweek hump than by squatting and jumping right over it... while holding a 25lb weight of course. Thanks to @mrcourtneypaul and @cpxperience legs, abs and butt I can officially declare myself in a lower body hangover. Between three days of lower body and dancing it up to @carrieunderwood last night I am most defiantly ready to plop down (slowly) with a jar of pumpkin paleoats. Delicious and an appropriate breakfast for national 🎃 day!
