. ARE YOU WINGING YOUR WORKOUTS? . You must have a clear plan already in place before you set foot in the gym to ensure progress is being made and time is not being wasted . Logbooks are an essential tool for tracking progress . It literally takes seconds to fill in after each set . Don’t worry about looking like a nerd, it’s becoming an increasingly common practice and besides you’ll have the last laugh when you’re smashing your goals 💪🏻💥 . The goal is to beat the previous week, this could be by lifting just 2.5kg more or doing 1-2 more reps... . ...that’s the principle of PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD, which is how we improve and grow . You can also make notes on variables which may effect your workout, like how you were feeling? Did you use a new pre workout? Or “I got X amount of reps but my form was a bit crappy, so next time I’ll keep the weight the same but just improve my form” . Some of you may think “I keep a note of it in my head” or “I make notes in my phone”. No, that’s not good enough . If you don’t have a notebook, go out and get one NOW! .

Soooo I was finally able to get a little training session in after over 2 weeks off 💪🏽 For those that don’t know, 2 weeks ago I cut my elbow at work and got some stitches.. 🤕 I was hoping it would heal quickly and I could get back to gym and my program ASAP.. But it didn’t 😒 and got infected etc. THEN just to top it off, last week I put a nail through my hand aswell 😓 The hand is healing fine, although even after taking the stiches out on Saturday, my elbow keeps opening up as it’s in a really shitty spot 🤦🏻‍♂️ So I’ve had to pull the pin on @thorspowerprogram that I was doing.. FOR NOW! As soon as I’m 100% healed, and can get my sleeves on again, I’m gonna start over 🔙 For the meantime, I’m gonna do some lighter hypertrophy and volume just to keep the body moving 🕺🏻 #nobodycares

Yesterday we put another good one in the books. Sundays are always fun! You have 3 different minds, that train a variety of ways. There is never a dull moment and there is ALWAYS growth. • • Now there are so many ways you can go about this exercise. We obviously went with one of the harder variations of it. Find what works best for you. Stability is key so if you have yet to get that part down I would regress first, maybe do an iso Split squat w/o the TRX instead first. My go to is find a healthier alternative to what you would have splurged on anyway. For me, Mint Chip Ice cream is bar none the greatest ice cream ever created. That’s where Level-1 Mint Ice cream sandwich becomes my lifesaver! It is in a class of proteins called “Sustained Assimilating Protien” which means it has a slower digestion rate much similar to that of whole food. This is perfect for keeping me satiated all night as well as satisfy this nasty craving I’m having right now for some ice cream.

My wife is lucky to have a nice physique!! That’s what a lot of people say to her 😳🔥 I can tell you that she does not appreciate being called lucky and I imagine nobody else would either!! The people that say things like that like that don’t think about the things that help anybody get a nice body. Food - regardless of your metabolism you need to know what is going on your mouth and how much you need to function properly. It also allows us to know how much food we will then need to loose weight or bulk up. Gym - working out is important to enhance the shape of the body, regardless of your choice of course exercise - juggling that around kids, work and lifestyle can be challenging. Lifestyle - plays a massive factor in everything we do that’s - rest, activities, drinking, socialising to name a few making the right choice is often difficult when those around you often stray. It’s not nice to be called lucky when you put a shift in to achieve your goals. Much love 💖
