In the morning, the kids are cranky and you have to rush for work. In the evenings, you are freaking exhausted after work. You dont even want to do anything and debate how you will hit your workout or cook a healthy dinner.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Your results require some planning. Many of my busy clients do well by training in the morning because they can just get it out of the way before the rush of the day hits. This is usually complemented with a tiny meal beforehand and a larger post-workout meal.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The number of meals you consume each day is highly dependent on what you enjoy and can stick to. Choose whatever time frame that works for you and run with it! People telling you, “you’re only allowed to have a 6 hour eating window” refer to IF as some magical thing. That’s not how I want to use it. It’s just a meal timing strategy. Choose a timeframe that works for you!! - Also, I like have my last meal 2 hour before I go to bed so I don’t wake up starving, this helps me in adhering to not eating in the morning better. - These are the time windows that work best for me, but if you find that different time windows work better for you, by all means go for it and make it work for you! - I hope this was helpful and of course, if you have any questions. So who wants to try my spicy meatballs? 👌🇮🇹 - Ingredients/Recipe (4 servings/450kcal each serving) - 700g Lean Beef Mince 60g Cheddar 50g Panko Breadcrumbs 1tsp Onion Powder 1tsp Garlic Powder 2 1/2 tsp Dried Italian Mixed Herbs Salt 2 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil 1 1/2 Red Onion 2 Garlic Cloves 2 tins Chopped Tomatoes 15g Honey Fresh Parsley - Not a lot of prep required here. Grate the cheddar and finely chop the red onion, garlic cloves and fresh parsley. Have the other ingredients weighed out and ready to use. 1. Combine the Lean Beef Mince (5% fat or less), grated Cheddar, Panko Breadcrumbs, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Dried Italian Herbs Seasoning and a good pinch of Salt in a large bowl. 2. Wet your hands (to stop the mince from sticking) and roll the mixture into meatballs of a similar size. Place the rolled-out meatballs to one side. 3. Bring a large frying pan to a high heat. 4. Use the Olive Oil allowance to cook the meatballs in batches (leave a teaspoon of oil for the tomato sauce). Make sure you don’t overcrowd the pan and use the oil sparingly. Cook until the underside of the meatball turns to a golden brown. When ready, flip the meatballs over and repeat the process. Once cooked, place the meatballs to one side. 5. Bring a large saucepan to a medium heat before adding the remaining Olive Oil. 6. Add the sliced Red Onion to the saucepan. 7. As the onion softens, add the finely sliced Garlic Cloves and Chopped Tomatoes (tinned) to the saucepan. 8. Bring the tomato sauce to a gentle simmer before stirring in the Honey and chopped Fresh Parsley. Leave the sauce to simmer for 10 minutes. 9. Add the meatballs to the saucepan and cover in the tomato sauce. 10. Serve with a sprinkle of Fresh Parsley.

FOLLOW➡️ @healthy.calories.world By @thecuriouschickpea She wrote:Korean Spiced Tempeh “Wings” Recipe:⠀ Makes 16 wings⠀ Ingredients⠀ 1 lb tempeh⠀ 4 cloves garlic, minced⠀ 1 tbsp minced ginger (1 piece)⠀ ¼ cup gochujang* (Korean pepper paste)⠀ 2 tbsp soy sauce⠀ 2 tbsp mirin⠀ 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil⠀ 1 tsp coconut sugar or brown sugar⠀ ½ cup veggie broth or water⠀ ½-3/4 cups cornstarch or arrowroot powder⠀ ½-1 cup panko style bread crumbs⠀ 1 tbsp lime juice⠀ green onions for garnish⠀ oil for baking or frying⠀ Gochujang Mayo⠀ ½ cup vegan mayo⠀ 2-4 tbsp gochujang⠀ ⠀ How To Make:⠀ 1. Tear up tempeh into chunks and place them into a large bowl or baking dish.⠀ ⠀ 2. In a bowl stir the garlic, ginger, gochujang, soy sauce, mirin, toasted sesame oil, coconut sugar, and broth. Pour it over the tempeh and marinade for 10-30 min, coat well.⠀ ⠀ 3. When ready to make the wings, either preheat your oven to 425 ºF if baking, or slowly heat about 1 of oil in a heavy bottomed pot over medium-low heat to deep fry.⠀ ⠀ 4. Place cornstarch in one bowl and the bread crumbs in a 2nd bowl. Prepare your tempeh wings by removing each piece of tempeh from the marinade, tossing it in the cornstarch, tapping off any excess starch then putting it back into the marinade. Repeat with the remaining pieces.⠀ ⠀ 5. Add 1 tbsp of fresh lime juice to the remaining marinade and set aside.⠀ ⠀ 6. To bake: Place the prepared tempeh wings on a parchment or silicon mat lined baking tray and spray or drizzle with oil. Bake for 10 min, then flip and bake an additional 6-10 min until golden and cripsy on each side.⠀ ⠀ To fry: test that the oil is hot, it should be 350 ºF: the oil should bubble/boil vigorously around it and the piece of tempeh should float to the surface fairly quickly after being dropped in. When the oil is heated, fry in batches, 1-2 min on each side, until the wings are a rich golden brown. Remove from oil and place on a paper towel lined plate.⠀ ⠀ 8. When the wings are done baking or frying, transfer them back into the bowl with the marinade and toss them to coat in the remaining juice.⠀ ⠀ 9. Top with some green onions and serve right away with gochujang mayo for dipping, if desired.
