So many people are mindlessly walking through the grocery stores. Mindlessly loading up crap they don’t need. If you’re really serious about fat loss, you should go into the grocery store like it’s a military operation. You should have a plan, know what you need AND don’t waiver from the plan. Of course, getting some foods that you like makes adherence to your diet better. But at least 80% of your cart should consist out of these 4 groups. - 1️⃣ Proteins. 2️⃣ Complex carbs. 3️⃣ Fruits and vegetables. 4️⃣ Healthy fats. - You don’t really need more!!! Seriously, keep things simple. Don’t load up on candy and chocolate. I love doing these - they always bring a stream of people in the DM who never read the caption - you seriously comparing a Snickers to nuts that HAVE HEALTHY FATS?!?!. So without further ado, lets get stuck in. ... Snacks have always been a sticking point for me - wanting something tasty between meals but being afraid of ruining my macros for the day with one treat. Thats when we all fall into the trap of the healthy snacks. You know the ones - they are the healthy alternative because they are marketed that way. ... One such example is the dark chocolate covered peanut. So for the sake of comparison - lets line it up with the humble snickers (because chocolate and nuts). And what do we see? Well overall not a huge difference give or take some marginal differences. And if youre going to get hung up on less than a 30 calorie difference you need to look at your relationship with food imo. ... The biggest (and in my mind, the most important) difference here is that one is the snack you wanted, and the other is a substitute. Having the nuts youll have pretty much the same calories and macros yet didnt actually have what you wanted. So being bad and having the unhealthy snack would have left you in pretty much the same place with your daily intake - except your craving was satisfied. You eat the nuts but youre still thinking about the snickers. Eat the snickers and youre a happy camper. ... We need to stop thinking of food as good or bad, and rather what do we want and how does it fit. ... IF can work whether you wake up at 6 AM, 10 AM or even 8 PM. It’s all about creating your feeding and fasting windows . Whenever you wake up, just don’t eat or drink anything with calories for 6 hours. Then you eat or drink all of your calories for the day in the next 8 hours. Then you fast again and sleep until you restart the next day. So this works at any time of the day. Just remember 6-8-10🤔 . Try to get your workout in either right before breaking your fast or during the feeding window (8 hours)💪🏼😉 . Of course it’s not for weight loss but it has its positive effects like cardiovascular health, for instance. It’s also helps with: ✨ Excessive weight gain ✨ Helps with your energy levels ✨ helps monitor certain diseases during pregnancy and labor.. ex gestational diabetes etc.. ✨ helps with stamina for labor ✨ helps with postpartum depression and with that postpartum snapback 😉 So ladies don’t be afraid to continue any physical activity while pregnant. Of course listen to your body! Don’t overwork yourself. STRETCH and drink lots of water during your workouts!
