Im feeling a little proud! 😝🤘I seriously did not want to do the LIIFT4 workout today! Even as I got the TV set up and got my weights out, I was still trying to talk myself out of it! I didnt find motivation until I started having a hard time with one of the exercises! Instead of stopping, I refocused and pushed through!! Also, it helped knowing the lifting part of the workout was almost over 😝🤣😂 Really though, there was a time I would have stopped when things got hard. I learned its ok to modify things and go at your own pace. I also learned that its important to ask yourself why is it hard. Eventually, youll learn its hard because its supposed to be!!

Good bench day today. Initially didn’t feel to good on flat and incline but finished strong on dumbbells. I didn’t eat lunch before I went in so energy was low. Working sets were 245(3x3) at 90% and incline 205(3x3). Moved on over to dumbbell press for a ladder of 10-4(95-110). The 110s were a PR for me considering I don’t even remember taking them off the rack before. When I created Strength & Sculpt, I wanted to create a class where we were moving along to the beat of the music, in unison, with weights in our hands (to really good music). Sometimes those weights are heavy and we’re focused on gaining strength, sometimes those weights are lighter and we’re working on endurance and bone density. But no matter what, this class is designed to make you feel strong, capable, and the fat burn percentage is much higher than my other classes. Each class serves a purpose, whether it be calorie burn and stress relief, endurance and toning (HIGH), flexibility, core strength, balance, and toning (Barre), and finally muscle endurance and/or strength, metabolism boosting, fat burning, and bone density improvement (Strength & Sculpt). This is the class I recommend to everyone who asks me which of my classes to start with, not because it’s easy (it’s not) but because you can make it your OWN.
