Whoboy! First time maxing out all three lifts in one day. PRd my squat, 127kg; 2kg over my 1RM from the end of the Russian squat program a few weeks ago. And this 127 looked way better than my 125. Next is the last bit of the bench video, 45kg - not bad for my 6th time benching ever and still feeling out the technique 🤷‍♀️ The worst/best part of the day was missing my 132kg deadlift attempt. Shitty that I missed it, but pretty damn proud of the fight I put up. Thanks to all the yelling folks @justliftinc, you did your best! Physique Update❤️ Hi loves, I haven’t had to time to really write in awhile due the holidays and celebrating my birthday, but I just wanted to talk about guilt regarding food. The holidays are a special time to share with your loved ones and you should NOT hold back nor feel guilt for enjoying yourself and eating all the delicious holiday food. These are precious memories that only happen once in a lifetime so please don’t be hard on yourself. . This is me after two thanksgivings, and FIVE birthday dinners, and to be honest, all the food is what I needed in order to grow (also, shoutout to high waisted pants for hiding my pooch🤣). But I feel stronger and feel like I’ve put on mass. Believe it or not, but sometimes comfort food is what we need in order to grow. Especially if you’re like me and eat pretty lean every day, sometimes I don’t get enough fats and carbs in to get as big as I want. So honestly the holiday foods are working in my favor🤪 I feel like I get bigger every winter. Because I bulk up during the holidays, which is what your muscles NEED the most when you’ve been lifting, then during spring/summer is when I shed it off. Don’t get me wrong though, I’m still cutting right now too. But I mostly try to do a lean bulk. . So it’s very important, if you want to grow your glutes, legs, arms, back, etc. to EAT. I’m talking three meals a day, snacks in between and a protein shake after workout. If you know me, I am constantly eating about every 2 hours lol. But because I have a fast metabolism it’s what I need to do in order to put on mass. People consistently ask me “Sarah how are you fit but you eat SO much??” And that is muscle retention. Increasing and retaining muscle mass actually helps BURN fat and calories and keeps it off longer than a caloric deficit. So don’t be afraid of food!! And use it to your advantage, lift HEAVY, so that all that food can help regenerate and build stronger muscle😇

First time competing and walked out with 2 medals... Highest Total in Mens Open Push/Pull & highest coefficient of 1000 lbs, my deadlift and bench combined with a body weight of 234 lbs. I said a month ago that I wanted to have a 440 bench but all the training and hard work put in I was able to push a 450, 5 lbs less than my PR that I had success with a week ago. I was only 25 lbs down from top bencher of 475 lbs. Matched my deadlift PR of 550 lbs so overall it was a great and successful experience.. Novice to Intermediate to Advanced by @musclemania97 _ In the beginning, gaining muscle is as simple as training 3-4x per week doing full-body workouts that focus mainly on 5-6 heavy compound lifts. Due to being hyper-sensitive to the stimulus, you’ll have no problem gaining muscle and adding weight to the bar from session to session. _ As you progress, however, linear progression is no longer a viable option. This is where one would begin to manage volume and intensity. Having strength focused days and volume focused days is a great way to do so. _ Once you’re more advanced, it’s time to increase the volume without sacrificing frequency.
