A big bowl of sugar filled cereal to start. Maybe some chicken covered in breadcrumbs from the freezer for lunch and dont forget the snacks in between... a chocolate bar or 2 maybe some crisps. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👎The evening would then be a whole Dominoes pizza to myself (Youve failed if you cant eat a full one right?) with zero regards for reducing calories (Ah I dont need to count them!) Plus some starters, wings and mozzarella sticks. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👎Then dessert would be from the pizza place, usually, the melted cookie doughs with ice cream... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👎Then we stick on a film so you have to have snacks to eat right? Share bags of Maltesers, Milkbar Buttons, Maybe a full chocolate bar (Oh it wasnt a choice either Id get them all). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👎Once thats all done I might then finish up with a bowl of cereal if I felt peckish... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Looking back now I cant believe I put away that much food... Even more so I cant believe I got upset when I realised I was getting fat! I was eating thousands of calories! Just over 3 years ago.. I fulfilled a goal that I had been trying to do since I was 12 but because of injury and ill discipline it took me til I was 31. That goal was to step into the ring! On that night I got the win I wanted but I was well over weight and didn’t think I done myself justice. So 3 years on I’ve decided to sacrifice my social life for the next 70 days and try and put on a show this time! READ BELOW 🔽🔽🔽🔽 CUT ▶️ BULK This is a bit difficult to post... you gotta go through that nasty stage of not looking lean (on the right) to build muscle 💪🏽 I know though that when I come to cut I’ll look a lot better than the photo on the left. Being lean and muscular takes sacrifice and sometimes that’s sacrificing the size of your body for a while to create that muscle growth. I can see some clear noticeable differences. My butt is most certainly bigger, my top half is a lot bigger and sadly my abs have disappeared 😂

How I plan to stay lean while travelling. ⠀ With currently a week into a month of travelling Australia , Bali, and New Zealand, ill likely not step into a gym for that time. So, other than hiking, walking 15,000+ steps daily, and doing my first bodyweight workout today this is how I’m approaching it. ⠀ My goal is to maintain weight and accept ill get weaker, temporarily. ⠀ So how am I going to do that? ⠀ 1️⃣Dont diet ⠀ When you’re on a trip or holiday you absolutely should NOT be dieting. The whole point of it is to relax, meaning, calories and macros aren’t to be counted. Not stressing over what you should eat and what you shouldnt eat. Enjoy the hell out of the time. You might never get that experience back. ⠀ ⠀ 2️⃣ Fast on the flight ⠀ In most cases airplane food tastes a bit balls. You’re only eating it because it’s free, and you’re bored. ⠀ This is all flight length dependant, though. ⠀ If you’re flight is in the afternoon then eat breakfast and fast flying. ⠀ If you’re flying in the morning then fast then and eat when you land. ⠀ However, If you have health issues and cant fast, then obviously eat. ⠀ ⠀ ​3️⃣ Dont waste calories ⠀ It blows my mind when I travel with friends and the first thing they do is hunt down a McDonald’s. on of the best parts of travelling is trying out local cuisines. This also reduces the amount of choice youre exposed to. ⠀ Basically, If you can get it back home, dont eat it. ⠀ 4️⃣Walk, every chance you get ⠀ I have walked between 15,000-25,000 steps every day, so far. Its the easiest way to ramp up calorie expenditure to offset a lot of the calorie intake. It’s also the easiest way to see more of your surroundings and familiarise yourself. ⠀ You can also use the time to take a forced training deload, so don’t freak out if you can’t find a gym. ⠀ ⠀ 5️⃣Reduced Meal Frequency ⠀ ​Reducing how often you eat is far easier when you have exploring to do. ⠀ So far I’ve enjoyed each meal and snack while getting in plenty of coffee, water, and the odd beer. ⠀ sometimes you’ll overshoot on cals, sometimes you won’t. It’s a great way to practice hunger and satiety signalling. ⠀ ⠀ The chances are I’ll come back heavier 🤷🏻‍♂️

Now you have your weekly allowance 📊 ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Your aim is to meet your weekly calorie allowance. Thats where the strategy allows you to be flexible. If you know youre going out for food and drinks with friends at the weekend, the likelihood is that those days are going to be more expensive in terms of calories. Therefore we need to have cheaper days elsewhere. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Forward planning: what would you do if you were going to buy a new car? 🚗 Youd save up some money over the time leading up to the day you decide buy 💷💷💷 (for you smart arses out there, no, you cant take credit 😂) Now youre able to afford the car without going into debt. Its the same with calories.
