Decided to take a break from #fbfitround2 and do some lower impact workouts for a few weeks because I am having some ankle problems that ive noticed tend to flaire up when I do heavy HIIT or cardio. I learned my lesson years ago that I should listen to my body so thats what Im doing. Not to mention the hubby and i are taking a vacay to Vegas in less than 2 weeks and i need to make sure i have no injuries so I can walk my happy ass down the strip! Haha. Did 40 minutes on the treadmill (inclined walking) and then legs, all low impact and still got a huge calorie burn! Heres a weird question, yesterday while doing the side leg raise (when you are laying down on your side and lift your leg for the outer part of your thigh muscle) when I lifted it I felt a sharp pain right in the middle of my buttock, I immediately stopped and skipped this exercise. Today I did this workout with Daniel to give ny lower body a rest but it still hurts me; kinda dull pain...anyone had this before? I finally did this Caramel Popcorn by @creativehomecook and we loved it!! I doubled the corn amount abd added a but to the honey and peanut butter, didnt double it as I thought itll be too sweet. We went to the movies today and I was really mindful about my food. I had a turkey subway on whole wheat bread, I asked them to put only 2 slices of cheese, well it was a footlong but it was after the 45min workout and it was the only thing I had. This morning I wanted to complete these 2 workouts, unfortunately ended up doing only half of each one. Started with the one with HIIT but during jumping jacks I felt pain in my right knee ๐Ÿ˜ฃ I might have hurt it during thigh slaps or double butt kickers, I stopped immediately and thought I can do the abs one but stopped after 2 rounds as I was two distracted thinking about my knee. So I applied the RICE method and grabbed this book to read, a cozy mystery which was a good choice. Job Update: I went for this training one day and it was booooring ๐Ÿ˜ฉ But I wanted to keep my word and continue the training period, the next day I went at 9 and till 10:30 the girl who is training me didnt show up ๐Ÿ˜ฌ So I left. I went for a second interview in an international hospital where they offered me concierge/guest relations job (6 days a week, 9 hours a day ๐Ÿ˜‘) salary is good but will open in 2 month. So meanwhile if I dont find something else Im gonna go with it. I used to work in a hotel so it was also 6 days a week but different shifts. In the hospital its 9-6 so no crazy shifts. . . Both were positive and tomorrow Im gonna start a trial period in a travel agency and on Friday if everything goes well we will discuss the salary ๐Ÿ™ The other company with the millions interviews and 50 hours a week never sent an offer, didnt reply my emails and today they said they will send the offer but yea you guessed it, they didnt ๐Ÿ˜  Im done with them. So today electricity was cut from 7am till 3pm. I didnt get enough sleep and it turned out Im PMSing, 4days before ๐Ÿ˜ฉ So I spent all the time in bed, read the whole book of Annie Bessant which was really interesting ๐Ÿ‘Œ . So eventually at 5pm I decided to move my butt and OMG this 50min HIIT workout with Daniel is INSANE ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I was dying at the second round of the last group and he goes: oh I forgot to do star jumps so we will do 3 rounds of these now and at the end to make it up and thats it I want to cry and throw myself to the floor and say NO ๐Ÿ˜ข But I take one look at my belly and remember the chocolate I had yesterday and today and push myself and get it done ๐Ÿ˜ฅ Finished by day #7 of 7 days to the splits. Annnd I broke my 365 days of yoga, I guess thinking about it too much let me feel obliged. I realized that Ive been doing yoga everyday since 5th of December 2017, till 2 days ago. So its not bad. But I havent seen any progress in my flexibility unfortunately, my hamstrings are always tight. Today I woke up so sore after using these wrist weights during upper body strength training of yesterday. It feels so good to workout after a period of laziness and indulgence. So today I did this amazing lower body comprehensive workout including cardio, strength training, pilates burnout + 10min HIIT and guess what I was wearing these 0.5kg ankle weights through the whole thing that my boyfriend got me for Valentines ๐Ÿ˜… Im wondering if Ill be sore tomorrow, lets see ๐Ÿ˜† Oh and I guess Im gonna stick to FB till my birthday. Super sweaty and satisfied. Wednesdays are the toughest for me. Usually Iโ€™ve worked lower and upper body between Monday and Tuesday and Iโ€™m just all over sore, but somehow @fitnessblender makes it possible with these programs to still find some way to earn that #workoutcomplete without over working the same muscles. Flex Friday LEGDAY EDITION ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Iโ€™m so excited to be healthy! (Knock on wood) this was the first week I actually completed ALL of the workouts scheduled in my program #fbfit with @fitnessblender and it feels AMAZING. My nutrition is back on point and I truly feel the difference in my mental and physical health after just 1 week. LONG POST ALERT ๐Ÿšจ โ˜บ๏ธ Morning walk in 31 degrees!!! Finally the warmer weather is leaving ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐ŸŒฌโ„๏ธโค๏ธ . . . . Iโ€™m giving my body a few days of rest. Participating in #tiu21 gave me the kickstart that I needed after being WAY off with my nutrition and consistency in exercise. Iโ€™m in my favorite season that seems to motivate me to have a better rhythm of life. ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŒพโ„๏ธ๐ŸŽ„ . . . That being said, on Monday Iโ€™m going to start #FBfit with @fitnessblender An 8-week program that will lead right up til Christmas. Many of you know that I have done several of @kellisegars and Daniel Segarsโ€™ #fitnessblender programs before. I keep coming back to them because my body craves this type of exercise. I easily burn myself out with certain repetitive workouts but FitnessBlender always switches it up-challenging my body. Strength, HIIT, cardio, Pilates, yoga, antagonistic movement, toning, supersets, body weight, plyometric, functional. And ALL OF THEIR WORKOUTS ARE FREE. ๐Ÿ˜ฑFREEEEEEEEE.
