This is working out at home while your little one takes a nap and your 4 year old does puzzles upstairs (or destroys the playroom). I’m not going to lie, keeping a workout routine when you’re sporadic isn’t always easy lol this is only day two. It would have been so easy saying “wow I’m sore from yesterday, I’ll take today off.” But I know if I did I would fall off again. So today I did a bit of cardio and abs. Can I ask you a favor? Yesterday I reached out to a buyer for a large store and after emailing back and forth a few times they want samples. . Now they could continue (hint hint) to carry the product they already have in stores, but expand to *more* stores throughout Washington or they may even pick up some new products too. . It’s so easy to let life and kids become your excuse over Your reason!! There are many times I have let life become my excuse. I had too much on my plate or too many holiday parties to live a healthy lifestyle. There were so any excuses!! After having my second son I finally decided enough is a enough! I needed-MY family needed me to start making my health a priority!! I looked into many opinions of ways to start losing weight because that was my first goal. I didn’t want a quick fix I wanted something that was workable for the WHOLE family. I didn’t have time to make two different meals, I needed convenience, I needed something would last and be something that would also be teaching the boys healthy living. I was approached by my coach and now dear sweet friend and business partner. She had found everything she needed for a healthy lifestyle for her and her family and it also fit everything I needed... I love and I miss doing heavy squats so much. One thing that athletes dont show or talk about very often is the pains they/we go through when we exposed our bodies to certain routines besides the normal DMS of course. I am personally paying the consequences after getting my shoulder rotator cuff injured many months ago and putting myself in the wrong hands (chiropractor), also because Im a very stubborn person who pushes herself really hard when she really wants something/even when it hurts pretty bad. After my latest physical therapist advised a few times not to put heavy weight on my shoulders I decided to listen 🙂and changed my routines temporarily until Im better. Lets talk about SNACKING! . I eat so well,my meals are always healthy and in the proper portions, yet Im not losing weight! . Sounds familiar? . Its cliche but true....weight loss/fitness/maintenance is largely nutrition. . But we often forget that snacks and those little things we nibble on when were peckish make up a BIG part of that nutrition! . If youre like me who will rather nibble on ije kuje all day if given the option,then you especially need to take note . What we do most of the time is what determines our results. And so, if youre munching on chin chin and biscuits constantly while seated at your desk, sucking on sweets to keep you awake at work...no hard guess as to what your results are and most likely not the burst of energy you were after. And even with healthy baked goods, quite a number of them are suprisingly high in calories too! . A HANDFUL of peanuts can skewer your energy balance for the day if youre not conscious !(swipe to see calorie content in nuts and other snacks) . Am I saying you have to give up on your favorite snacks forever? Well,it depends on what that snacks is and what tour goal is...but that a topic for coaching sessions😂. But most times, all you need to do is: 👉Keep TREATS as TREATS and make the habit of always having snacks at hand that support your goal and whose regular consumprion will not endager your health and well being 👉You can hardly go wrong with most fruits and veggies....have a good supply at hand especially if you have a sweet tooth. If you prefer healthy baked goods, be aware of their calorie content and eat in sensible portions 👉 DONT EAT A MEAL AS A SNACK (This one is a post on its own) . This is such an exhaustive topic but I hope this will help someone? How about you? Is snacking and issue for you or you dont even feel the need to most times?

Today was hard! Like I don’t want to do it hard. I’m so freaking sore from my Leg workout on Wednesday, I didn’t get the sleep I needed and I’m carb cycling this week. All of these things lead to the extreme frustration with myself during this move. . I’m so hard on myself, I want everything to be done perfectly (working on that) and when it’s not, I sometimes throw a tantrum 🙄. I know nothing about that is productive but it gives me that one moment to lose it before I try again. . Just like you, I’m a work in progress every single day.

Despite my extreme feelings of Self consciousness yesterday, I managed to snag a video of my finisher.
