Transformation Tuesday 2010- just graduated high school. Weighed a content 240. Lacked self-confidence, self-discipline. Had few goals, but no blueprint to attain them. 2018- college educated, owns a business, weighs 196 but knows there is still much more progress to be made. Self-confident, humble yet Hungry, continuing the journey of self-discipline, has multiple short term and long term goals with blueprints to attain them. 8 years worth of failures, 8 years worth of information gathered, 8 years worth of decisions that were made everyday to get me where I am today. Day 2️⃣is done! I’m two days into this new Liift4 program and I can already tell it’s going to be a game changer for me. •Workout 4️⃣Days a week, lifting, HIIT, and abs. •3️⃣rest or active recover days. •You pick the days you want to workout based on your schedule • You can do light activities on your rest days. I’m going to use Wednesday as my mid week rest day, sleep in and do Yoga at night. Saturday’s I will do PiYo, Sunday’s total rest day...GAMECHANGER!! •Short workouts, no longer then 40 minutes but so gosh dang effective! •Simple meal plan to follow and cheat days! • Again GameChanger and I’m loving it on day 2️⃣, this is exactly what my entire body needed!!

Two random facts: 1. We rarely have ice cream in our house. 2. If we DO have ice cream, it’s rare it ever gets finished before freeze burn takes over. But I bought this one day, out of curiosity of course. And turns out, we can down a container of it pretty darn fast. So fast we may or may not have gone back the next day to buy another one. And then Sunday was national ice cream day, so maybe we had more then, too! 🤷🏽‍♀️ Almond milk ice cream. It’s legit. #thelovellylife

Before I joined #Burn, I felt exhausted and slow. I had just given birth to our third child and already had 4-year- old twins. Keeping up with them and their energy level was extremely difficult. I found it challenging to find the energy to do family activities that I loved (the zoo, bike rides, playground games, etc.). I knew I needed to change my routine, eat well and find time in our busy schedules to start working out again. . When I first heard of #BurnBootCamp , I didn’t hesitate to start. I was lucky enough for one of my awesome neighbors to join with me. It provided me with #accountability to come to camp each day. I had #noexcuse. I wanted to change, and I knew this was going to change me. . My #results are amazing! I have lost 25.75 inches, 9.3% body fat and over 35 pounds! It feels great to see the numbers on the scale decline and inches come off, however; its even more rewarding to keep up with my kids and husband during #familyactivities. . I notice so many changes to my body, but the #emotional changes have made an even bigger impact on me. I have a consistent #positive #mindset every day. I have the drive to push toward each milestone that I have set for myself along this #journey. Finally, it feels great to do something for myself that has many positive downstream impacts not only on my life, but on others as well. . People often get wrapped up in setting large goals that seem almost unattainable. 😔Try this instead. Set small goals for yourself. For instance, if you are trying to lose 20 lbs, only focus on losing 2 pounds a week. This will keep you on track and not force you to get frustrated!👍🏻 Also remember those awesome non-scale victories. Week 25 Day1 So my honest review about beach body! I honestly think it’s a great program. Why don’t I follow it? Honestly, I prefer working out in the gym because it is my “me time” you see I love my kids and they mean the world to me but as a mama I need some alone time, I need some peace. In the gym I don’t hear my kids calling my name every second. I prefer weight training vs body weight. Why? Simple as you can see in this video, this video as far from perfection. My form is incorrect, I thought I was doing it perfectly until I saw my videos. I said to myself “oh no 🤦‍♀️ let me re do this” but then I said “ this is really me, and I struggle with body weight exercises. If you love working out from home this is for you. Never underestimate the power of a workout 🙌💦💪 Today was one of those days 🙅 Boys awake and ready to take on the world at 5.30am. 8am felt like it must be at least 3pm and at 8.30am we found ourselves at McDonalds just so the boys could have a play on the playground because no play centres were open yet and it felt like about minus 10 degrees so parks were out of the question... Back home so Madi could have her morning sleep. She catnapped 😩 boys fought over every toy that they havent even looked at for the last 3 years. Off to the play centre. 2 x poos in pants 😩 Forgot wipes. Seriously, how can a mum of 3 years forget WIPES 😭 More fights in the afternoon ranging from who gets to sit in the car seat behind mummy to who gets the green sippy cup. Tantrums at dinner time because the broccoli touched the carrots. Not just a normal tantrum, one of the ones that no matter what you say they just keep screaming and you think oh well, someones going to be extra tired at bedtime tonight 😳💁 Daddy walks in the door and I want to kill him, not for any apparent reason - I just feel tapped out..! Exhausted. But I decide to get Madi into bed, leave daddy to take care of story time with the boys and go and SWEAT 💦 OH EM GEE..! I cannot tell you how AMAZING it felt!!! I walked into the garage feeling defeated and tired. I walked back into the lounge 30 minutes later feeling ENERGISED and just wanted to hug and kiss my babies like crazy. Exercise 1000% makes me a better mum 💕 Can anyone relate?! I did this workout that I had filmed earlier today but didnt get to actually do because well... refer to above 👆😂 10 x Double Snap Burpees 30 x Pulse Squats 15 x Push Ups 20 x Squat Kicks 40 x Ab Bikes 10 x Mountain Climbers (4) + Push Up 1 minute wall sit I repeated until 30 minutes was up but you can repeat for 10, 15 or 20 minutes if you are shorter on time ❤️️ #homeexercises #homesquats #homeworkouts_4u #fitgirlsguide #homeabs #fitmomsofig #postpartum

Well this is a vulnerable post 😆 The end of my 80 day program, vs today. I’ve let myself slide on my nutrition more than I should have. And I probably shouldn’t have taken this photo right after returning from a week long vacation either 🤷🏻‍♀️🤨 But this goes to show that I’m a real person. I like cookies and pizza and s’mores as much as anyone else 🍪 🍕 🍫 It doesn’t always come easy for me just because I’m a fitness fanatic. This is also proof that working out doesn’t get you to your goals without the nutrition aspect also being there ... because I have kept up with most of my workouts, even on vacation. It’s hard for me to stay on track with nutrition if I’m not following a program. The last month or so I’ve just been doing different workouts and not really following a plan. I’m ready to get back on track! So here’s to the next 8 weeks of my new program. ➕4 days a week working out ➕30-39 minute workouts ➕Treat days (because we are human and can’t make it a lifestyle change if we have to eat 100% clean all the time... and I refuse to miss s’mores nights with my kiddos!) ➕3 rest days 😴 ➕32 different workouts If you want to jump in with me, fill out the “test group” form through the link in my bio ♥️

If all our shopping in the US was as idealic as it is in Europe.....specifically Paris in this shot. . . I always marvel and totally geek out over the way that produce is marketed and shared outside of the US....this is from a tiny market near our AirBNB in the St. Germain area of Paris last year. We walked there everyday to pick up veggies for our salads and meals. . . The concept of eating locally grown and sourced food is near and dear to my heart. Visiting the farmer’s markets and local farms is abs a priority for our family. . . We are heading out later in the week to pick peaches....I adore stone fruits as do the kiddos. Raising a daughter is one of the hardest things I think I will ever do in my life. My habits were extremely unhealthy🙈 I would over-restrict Monday-Thursday (barely eating and doing TONS of cardio every night) and then by the time the weekends rolled around: I would BINGE eat really unhealthy foods... Bc my body was HUNGRY / Not getting the nutrients it needed!! Id eat and wouldnt workout and by Monday I felt horrible about myself...😞...and would start the over restrictive diet again for Mon-Thurs...😟🌀 and this binge/restrict cycle went on and on. This is actually very common - I talk with girls allllll the time who find themselves in a similar situation...😓Its that all or nothing attitude that keeps us from success-- when a person is either totally restricting foods & doing excess cardio -OR- eating everything you can find and not exercising at all..❌🙅🏼 NEITHER WAY IS GOOD....you need balance.... without balance you wont be able to sustain the diet for long enough to see results...the solution ??👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 . ✅Pic on the right: For the last few years I have been practicing a WAY more BALANCED lifestyle! I eat enough food on a daily basis to keep my body happy, healthy, and satisfied! And instead of being a cardio bunny I weight train 5x a week- its changed my body shape COMPLETELY while making me stronger and healthier too!! I eat foods I love, I dont cut out entire food groups. I eat healthy nutrient dense foods 90% of the time and the other 10% is treat foods like ice cream or cookies, etc.! That way I never have to feel like Im missing out! MODERATION is everything when it comes to long term success with a diet!! Giving your body the nutrients🥒🍌🍓🍔🌮🍯🍳 it needs everyday also means you wont find the urge to binge come Friday or Saturday..
