Day 8: Total Body Core Felt pretty good today, I definitely liked doing 3 sets/10 reps rathers than 2 sets/15 reps like last week. The only one I really had trouble with and had to modify was the sideways plank crunch thingy. I’ve felt very complacent lately, and I hate complacency. I hate feeling like I am not making progress or bettering myself in any way. I know there are multiple reasons I’ve been feeling like this, but the biggest reason is I haven’t set any goals for myself lately. Not having something to work towards makes it even harder to become motivated. 1. I have extreme social anxiety. If I dont talk to you or seem mad or distant, whether in person, its not that I dont like you. Im just trying not to have a panic attack. 2. I love animals. All of them. 3. I prefer being indoors vs outdoors. Although sometimes I feel like I need to be outside just to soak up the peacefulness. 4. I have very few actual friends. None (aside from my husband) live in the town or state that I live in. 5. I love K-Pop and K-Dramas. Something about them sucked me in about 10 years ago and Ive been stuck on them since. 6. I love being alone. Spending too much time with other people makes me irritable and I feel drained. 7. Im obsessed with cacti and succulents. 8. I live in leggings and yoga pants. I have at least 15 pair. 9. I love anime and some japanese reality shows. 10. I can speak English, Italian, Korean, some Japanese, a small amount of Mandarin, and a little Norwegian. 11. Im a book nerd and sci-fi geek. 12. I dont play as often as I used to (due to lack of time), but Im a huge gamer. I prefer RPGs and MMOs to any other genre. Im absolutely awful at FPS. 13. Im obsessed with skincare. I love trying new products and helping other people take care of their skin. I also love doing nails. Acrylics, gels, simple manis, etc. 14. I rarely wear makeup aside from mascara and a brow pencil. Both of which are required due to very light lashes and brows. 15. Im a southern girl. Posed VS Unposed - The power of poses is real! On the left Im tensing my core, have my leg propped up and am leaning back on my arm. And on the right, Im slouched over, you can see some rolls, Im sitting sorta criss cross applesauce and you can see where I carry my fat in my butt/thigh area. - Just because Im not flexing or posing doesnt take away from the hard work Ive put in the gym. It doesnt mean Ive lost my gains and need to workout obsessively to keep chasing what I think I need to look like. It also doesnt take away from my self worth or self love. - Sometimes I look like the left picture and sometimes I look like the right. I love both versions of myself and am okay with not looking perfect 100% of the time. - Remember, you are worthy no matter where you are in your fitness journey!! And if someone says something in an attempt to put you down or try and take away an achievement of yours, remember that theyre just projecting their own insecurities and must have a lot of hate in their heart. Someone who is confident and secure with themselves wouldnt say such a negative or hurtful thing, so dont give it a second thought if you get a rude comment from someone :) - Lets all work on celebrating, encouraging, and empowering one another, rather than blindly putting each other down in attempt to (temporarily) make ourselves feel better.

48 hours later, guys I made it, no gym, no training, no lifting. Not going to lie it wasn’t easy keeping away but eating my heart out yesterday at Crazy Bear was a TASTY distraction. Hitting the gym with leg day 🙈 and plenty of energy. Squats, Lunges, Hip Thrusts, Leg Extensions, Leg Curls, two sets of Calves, Rowing and that should do it. Time to sweat out all the calories I inhaled 😂😂

I had to wait about five minutes to sip on this BOMB of a cocktail trying to pose for an awkward picture. Ladies and gentlemen by this point I was exhausted of breathing in my stomach, pushing out my boozems and trying not to give an awkward smile. So this is the best one ☝️

I have been waiting all week for it to be Friday for three reasons. 1) Date night 2) FOOOOOOD 3) Mojitos in the sun ☀️ Taking a nice and well deserved break from the gym for .... 48 hours and enjoying life. Let’s party (not too hard though, drink responsibly, text your parents if you’re staying out late, don’t forget to hydrate, be nice human beings in general, order the extra large cheesy fries, don’t support Trump, take an extra shower in this heat wave because you most likely smell) have a good day yall 😍❤️😊⚠️

*WARNING* ⚠️ no pretty content over here. Lets be completely blunt here and say that this is not my best angle, quite unflattering I say. But hey I’m going to get down and dirty and let you guys into the not so pretty side of my workouts. Although it may not look cute or sexy but trust me this is very much effective. 4 sets of 10-12 reps like this for shoulders in about 3 minutes kicks off the shoulder workout with a nice little burn. The secret is to keep your back glued to the seat and as straight as possible !!

I have to admit, today was a rushed sesh ... for the next three weeks or so just like the rest of Britain at 9pm I need to have my ass firmly planted on the sofa cheering on Jack and Dani and booing off Meghan (who I hope no one uses your 20% missguided code name when you get out) little home wrecker. Anyway sometimes the quick and go sessions are the best. You get in, get the job done and get out.

I love leg days. They kill you and make you feel like you’re about to pass out, hell, sometimes you even do but the next day and the day after and the day after that when the progress kicks in, man oh man it feels good. Don’t forget to finish up your sessions with some cardio, twice a week is good enough 👍🏾
