On the menu for this week: breakfast- ham and veggie egg bake and roasted sweet potatoes, kodiak cakes with enjoy life chocolate chips, lunch- chicken burrito bowls- cauli rice cooked with garlic, onion, bell pepper and salsa, black beans, corn, and chicken, (same for Chris but with cilantro lime rice) snacks- raspberries, string cheese, hummus and veggies, boiled eggs, some extra roasted veggies and sweet potatoes that will go with dinners this week, a stuffed bell pepper casserole that I made for Chris’s family to have for dinner a couple nights, and apples for dessert that I usually eat with chocolate PB2. 😋 #mealprep #flexibledieting #blackironnutrition #eatyoveggies

Because food quality is important. But so is food quantity. And if you want to lose a bit (or a lot) of fat and are having trouble no matter how healthy you eat...you might be eating more calories than you think. - 🦄I put pizza in here as a joke (mostly to see who would get riled up in the comments without reading the caption) but also because it symbolizes an important concept -- flexible dieting. And also because pizza is my favorite food along with Oreo ice cream cake and apple pie. - ☕️Anyhoodle. - 🦄There is no such thing as a bad or off limits food. Everything is allowed. The distinction is what should you focus on? What should be emphasized in your diet? Pizza, regrettably, shouldnt be a key player. But you can absolutely have it now and again while continuing to make progress. Especially if you can fit it in your calories. But even if you go over your calories, no big deal. Just get right back on track. - ☕️Because you dont reach your goals in a meal or a day or a week or a month. And you dont lose all your progress in a meal or a day or a week or a month. I still can’t get enough of this homemade salmon and mixed berry salad. I can/would order something like this off of any given restaurant menu, but happily made it at home in half the time...and half the cost. You can easily recreate healthy restaurant inspired meals in no time by prepping a few lean protein staples (ie: seared/broiled/grilled salmon, chicken, steak, tofu, etc., and keeping healthy salad staples like crisp greens, ripe juicy berries, and other micronutrient filled salad veggies on hand. I’m also notorious for adding fun flavor/texture enhancements like nuts, beans, and cheese crumbles to salads to help keep things interesting. Make salad eating fun and enjoyable by abandoning the basic. Find ways to make your choices exciting by creating meals that are deliciously healthy, easy, Fit And Flexible. Finished a powerful #legday today to kick off the weekend and earn my @kodiakcakes refeed today! 🤗🥞💪 I haven’t had a tracked refeed beyond a slight carb up for competitions and some treats post show in 6 weeks! What can I say? I fucking earned it! 💁🏻‍♀️ I’ve been so good with my nutrition/intake/lifts this post competition season it hurts, LOL! Last year I was 2 weeks out from my wedding at this time and my reverse went to shit between bridal showers, bachelorette parties, birthday parties, wedding festivities, and then an incredible honeymoon through Europe (Croatia, Montenegro, and Greece) to top it all off... totally not complaining but let’s just say I gained 12 lbs from stage weight in about 2 months and then I sat there for months as I got back on a solid reverse plan with my current coach. Things are very different this year! Not any easier, just different. While I’m working on getting my intake up slowly and sustainably while maintaining a body composition I’m comfortable with, I’m dominating my lifts in the gym and so excited to surpass my PRs I’ve been able to maintain fairly well throughout my 33 week prep this year. Strength definitely took a bit of a hit the last few weeks but I tell myself it’s all mental and with some extra calories in the tank, I have no doubts I’ll be back to where I want to be in a few weeks! #fitness #fitfam #npcbikini #ifbbpro #livefit #reversediet #healthylife

Come On Ladies! Stop with Lordosis or “SwayBack” 🤦‍♀️ 💠 Lordosis refers to your natural lordotic curve, which is normal. But if your curve arches too far inward, it’s called lordosis, or swayback. Lordosis can affect your lower back and neck. This can lead to excess pressure on the spine, causing pain and discomfort. August 18 - 31 #SmartPoints. How do you deal with holiday eating?? I have eaten delicious food this week BUT it hasn’t been great for the points. Although I wish the summer was longer and my parents would stay some more weeks, I am lookig forward to go back to my food routine. Today we had friends over for dinner. We ate grilled entrecote and vegetables (zuchinni, mushrooms, orange & yellow paprika and tomato) + parmesan potatoes. I also had one rum & cola. For lunch I cooked scrambled eggs with ham, tomato and onion + a small bread - that plate looks like an angry man 😂. I found a @barebells peach milkshake and had half of it. I am usually team plain black coffee because personally, I’d rather eat my calories instead of drink them, but occasionally, this will be an exception...especially when plain black coffee just won’t cut it. . If you love salty-and-sweet snacks (like me), you’ll be a big fan of this drink because the salt taste is definitely strong; you can taste it as soon as you put your lips to the lid. Ive tried gym trainers, ive tried any type of diet someone recommended because they got results from it. For myself, for my body type, for my goals ive learned the most smooth and effective way for me. Fuck atkins diet, fuck HCG diet, fuck counting calories, “only eat greens n veggies “ FUCK THAT SHIT! Commercial gym trainers will tell you to do cardio and how to lift, but they wont explain nutrition and it pisses me off. 80% of the fitness journey is FOOD! As someone who tried all of those diets I can say I got results, but I was miserable and it was very hard to maintain that diet/ new weight. I felt like crap. I have to give a huge S/O to my homie @the.incredible.ivan for helping me learn about macros/flexible dieting. This is a life style not a diet to me. He actually explained what carbs do to my body, how much fat to eat. With his help he taught me the ins n out of my body to have a healthy relationship with food. We are coming HOME! 🇺🇸 (trip explained👇🏼) ⠀ Happy hearts & a couple lifetimes of world travel... In 2 days, we are finally returning to where we started exactly 365 days ago 📆 ⠀ LETS RECAP: Last August, @delanzz & I picked up our lives and moved to the country where we first met over 3 years ago: AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 ⠀ We settled in on the beautiful Gold Coast a few kilometers away from now one of our favorite beaches in the world: Burleigh Beach. ⠀ How did we make money there and for all of this travel? (the # 1 question I get asked ) My primary job was and still is my online fitness coaching business. In addition, we worked a lot of jobs as baristas, bartenders, waiters and hosts. NO we weren’t rolling in dough, but we made enough to live comfortably and SAVE for every single trip we wanted to go on 💰 ⠀ We went on a heck of a lot of trips within Australia - too many to name but Byron, Noosa and Melbs are a few of our favorites. ⠀ We also went on a few international trips in our first few months down unda - Bali, Indonesia and Queenstown, New Zealand. Around the time of the Super Bowl, we began saving every penny to travel for over 2 months straight... ⠀ By the end of June, we had to say catch ya lata mate to our home and the amazing friends we made on the Gold Coast. Then we were on our way ✈️ ⠀ We had every stop mapped out and a laundry list of stuff to do in each stop. The tour went like this: 1 stop Singapore, 2 stops Vietnam, 2 stops Thailand, 1 stop UAE, 2 stops Greece, 3 stops Germany, 1 stop France, 1 stop Switzerland, 2 stops Italy, 1 stop Austria, 1 stop England and next up.... 2 stops USA: Boston & California 😁 ⠀ Crazy when I actually write it down... 🤪 As we are now prepared to leave for Boston in 2 days, we can officially say we’ve flown around the world 🌎 ⠀ GUYS, this has been the best year to my life. My honest advice to anyone who loves adventure: Go travel the world! Challenge yourself. Make memories that will last forever. Spend your money on experiences. Well I did it! . Got 2nd place in both Novice and Open at my first @officialocb_page show! Overall, very happy and proud of this package. I absolutely came in leaner and more confident on the stage. . I absolutely loved this show and am hooked on competing in the natural leagues! . Feedback from judges was that everything was absolutely perfect (posing, confidence, back pose was perfect) but my legs were too “thick/muscular” 🤷🏼‍♀️ Its hard to know what the judges want/prefer to see on stage so all you can do is work your hardest and bring the best package possible to the stage... and that I did! . Por quê? . ✔️Em primeiro lugar, os refrigerantes normais possuem calorias vazias, são muitas gramas de açúcar que bebemos sem nem perceber e além de isso tirar a possibilidade de comer algo gostoso, não traz nada de bom para o corpo. Uma coxinha de frango, por exemplo, não seria algo ideal a se comer, mas pelo menos tem uma ótima fonte de proteína que é o frango. . ✔️Os refrigerantes em geral (comuns, diet, zero, etc, e sucos de pozinho, inclusive clight) tem ingredientes HORRÍVEIS. Olhem nos destaques que ontem uma moça explicou muito bem sobre isso. . ✔️ Último ponto e mais importante: a minha experiência com eles. Bem, eu sempre tive tendência para engordar, mas em minha adolescência eu vivi uma época beeem desregrada que foi o que me fez chegar a pesos tão altos. Nessa época eu chegava a beber 2 litros de refrigerante por dia (sério 😯). O resultado: infecção na bexiga. É por isso que até hoje eu bebo muita agua diariamente, mesmo sem dietas. Se eu tomar menos de 2 litros eu sinto muita dor. Mas o grande problema sempre foi parar. Vamos ser sinceros, refrigerantes são deliciosos e estão em todo lugar. Todas as vezes que eu tentei parar cortando eles de vez eu dava crises e tomava 1 litro de uma vez. Hoje estou me limitando a uns 200 ml por dia e vou reduzindo aos poucos. A intenção é deixar os refrigerantes apenas para momentos de exceções, como as festas de família. Bolinha de Batata Doce Recheada com queijo 🧀🍠 Ingredientes:
✔️400 grs de batata doce cozida ✔️50 grs de queijo provolone (ou o que preferir) ✔️1 colher de sopa cheia de manteiga ou ghee
✔️sal e noz moscada (opcional) a gosto ✔️Cubinhos de queijo para rechear (usei queijo canastra)

Bata tudo em um multiprocessador e molde as bolinhas na mão e recheie com quadradinhos de queijo.  Depois passe as bolinhas na farinha de linhaça dourada. Coloque em uma assadeira e leve ao forno medio até dourar. Torno de 15 minutos. Happy #selfiesaturday 📸 missed #flexfriday 😏 its been 1 week since my 1st bikini competition and heyyyy I still have abs 😅 checked in at same weight as I was on show day and same waist measurement (this pic taken after eggwhites and a cup of coffe☕) . . . **confession time** I had a major cheat weekend following the show due to celebrations and /someone/ needing to finish off the #glutenfree brownie a la mode 😆😉😋 BUT to balance this I stuck to my pre-comp macros during the day and had my treat after and then back to strictly the pre-comp macros once brownie was gone. . . . Sodium and water weight reflected on the scale Monday and Tuesday and then 💨woosh💨 went back to peak week weight!

Prepped breakfast burritos for work mornings. I have to get to work at 6:45 and I like to sleep until 6 which means I usually dont eat any breakfast. If I do I grab something quick which leaves me hungry by mid morning. I used: 2.5c egg whites 3 whole eggs 3 whole Jennie O mild Italian turkey sausage 3/4 of 1 large tomato 3/4 of 1 red pepper 1/4 cup red onion 1 cup fat free mozzarella cheese 7 carb counter tortillas This yielded 7 breakfast burritos. 29g protein 20g carbs 8g fat I froze them and I reheat them at work and eat them with salsa.
