#MobilityMonday . . ADDUCTOR ENG (Eccentric Neural Grooving) . Getting back at it strong on a Monday! We are going a little more advanced for this one! 🧐 A lot of people do things for the glutes/outside of the hips to fix an array of issues. That being said, the adductor complex is neglected even more! For myself, I have recently had some Anterior hip pain when squatting and found it was weak adductors! But it makes sense. They are responsible for so many things, assisting in hip flexion, hip stabilization and hip extension. That’s a lot of things a group of muscles is helping with! 🔥 Give this one a shot! I show a modified version in the video but make sure you stay safe! Keys to remember: 🔑 - brace core before starting - squeeze quad/adductors as you slowly lower yourself down as far as YOU can - to get up, put pressure in your hands and come back to start position. . Coming in hot with a spicy combo that I had @itskenzieriley doing to really challenge her active straddle position while also throwing in some 1/4 Swimmers Bc I like to torture her. 🔥😈 She killed this along with a bunch of other glute/adductor work in this session. How to improve your deadlift 101: train hamstrings 2-3x a week by doing 2 hamstring focus movements like leg curls or dumbbell deadlifts for 3-4 sets of 8 reps; and spend one leg day a week doing heavy box squats followed by 4-5 sets of 60-70% deadlifts in the 8 rep range. By training your hamstrings & practicing your deadlift movement in addition to the typical “leg day” quad heavy exercises, you’ll build a more athletic physique & a strong back + hamstrings that will support better deadlifts.

I’ll be honest with you guys...I haven’t been posting a ton lately because for the last few weeks now, I’ve had this deep desire to focus on REAL relationships. For the last 6 years, I’ve been consistently focusing on building social media relationships, and have let my real friendships slide to the way side. My default is to work work work work work work...and eat...and workout...and work again! It’s a habit that has given me SO many opportunities, but my soul is craving for connection! 💕 :: I think it is SO important to remember to connect with people face to face. Put your damn phone down and CONNECT!!! :: Because of my little hiatus, I’m *literally* having the time of my life! Seeing friends, enjoying good food and drink, letting my workaholic side of me take a break and just find JOY. Boy does it feel good!!! :: Yes, I’ve gained a bit of happy weight with all the food and drink, but I’m telling you it has been SO worth it! It’s about finding that balance and for me...that balance has been 50/50. I like to stay at the 80/20 range so this 50/50 balance has definitely let me know through tighter clothes 😬 :: While I’m still going to focus on relationships, might just drink one night a week instead of FIVE (omg who am I?)...and keep my meals on point!!! AND make sure I get a sweat on daily!! :: How do you keep that balance? Do you let yourself go on the weekends or do you go with the flow??
