🔥TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY🔥 . All the clips in the purple tank are from almost 2 years ago. About a year (give or take) after I started going to a real gym.. . AFC was the first gym I went to. Where I began my fitness journey, where I learned what a hamstring was, where I learned to lift properly & where I realized this is what I was made to do.. . In September 2016 I switched to goodlife because my bf at the time started working there. Almost 2 years of being there and I decided I’m ready for a change. So here I am back where it all began. 😅 ABSOLUTELY ROASTING😅 • • • • 110kg for 4x5 today for sumos @ 62kg b/w 💪🏻 They felt horrible, mostly due to fatigue, hamstring tightness, a V V HOT gym with no air con, and I accidentally ate a LOT less than I should have yesterday😩🙄. HO HUM🤷🏼‍♀️ Got them done, and tbh they don’t look as horrendous as they felt 🤷🏼‍♀️🙌🏻

Fiber is a very important substance for your health but can lead to gas due to your bodys inability to break it down. Make sure to have at least 25 g per day, but dont eat too much. Exceeding 80 g of fiber per day would probably cause some bloating as well as digestive and nutrient absorption problems. . . Excessive fluid wont normally be trapped in the abdomen, but people do often cite subcutaneous water retention (water under skin) as the same thing as bloating. The average person has a diet high in sodium but low in potassium. This causes you to retain water. Undo this by consuming less processed food and consuming more fruits and vegetables. Believe it or not, having more water will also help flush out subcutaneous water. Lastly, cortisol is a stress hormone leading to water retention. Reduce your stress and you wont hold as much. . . You may experience some bloating depending on the biological clock too. Sorry, I cant help you there lol. I hope these tips helped! Today’s #transformationtuesday is mental. Me last year would have woken up tired, after teaching twice yesterday, not fully recovered but desperately wanting to crush some weights anyway. She would have had a decent workout, but maybe it would be slow, or she would be extra tired, or her muscles wouldn’t be fully recovered. . Today Erin decided to sleep a bit more. Today’s #transformationtuesday is about LEGS - from skinny and scrawny to STRONG and sculpted 💪🏼👊🏼 . One of my goals has been to build my legs and glutes as they are the last to catch up with my upper body. This is a 3 year #progresspic comprised of hard work, grinding it out each week and eating in accordance with my goals. 3 YEARS - not days, weeks or months and there still is no expiration date. Dannon Light & Fit Caramel Apple Pie Greek Yogurt - This flavor used to be seasonal but it is now a permanent offering and I am SO glad because it is delicious! I absolutely love the little apple chunks it has! I do get a slight caramel flavor, but I think it should just be called apple pie as opposed to caramel apple pie. Other than it being slighty sweeter to resemble the caramel part, it reminds me more of a traditional cinnamon apple pie flavor (you can even see little specks of cinnamon) than a caramel apple pie flavor. Adding just a touch more cinnamon really puts this yogurt over the top and it goes great with a cinnamon flavored granola. Definitely try this yogurt out if you are a fan of apple pie! 80 cals/0f/9c/12p - Rating: 9/10

Week 29: I’m pretty proud of myself this week. Hit the gym 3x and then went surfing up the coast during the weekend. Although I haven’t grown in size, I feel that I have become physically stronger. During my surf trip, I paddled out in pretty strong currents and was doing okay! Hard work always pays off. Til next week ladies and gents’☺️🤙🏼

While nutrition is my true love, fitness was my first. 💪🏼🍎 I recently rejoined @classpass and it’s been such a reminder that you have to switch up your workout routine to keep things fresh & fun! - When clients tell me they hate exercising, I tell them they haven’t found their jam yet. It takes exploring to find what lights you up. For me, I love TRX style/anti gravity workouts, yoga & Pilates. It is very rare that you’ll find me running and you’ll never find me boxing. 🥊🙅🏻‍♀️ #notmything If you don’t like something, don’t do it. (It really is that simple) Find what works for you so you’ll want to return and can achieve progress! (Because P.S. this is not what I looked like in my first yoga class)

Morning Workout!

Time for another #transformationtuesday post! 310lb 👉🏻 177lb (current). . I was a serial dieter. If it said “fast and easy weight loss!”, I was like sign me up ✋🏻 and take my money 💸. . Every other month I was on another diet. Desperate to get the weight off my body, that I was willing to try whatever promised results, except the only way that actually offered the results I desired. Hard work and consistency. . The weightloss industry markets weightloss to be easy, quick and thoughtless. “Just take this pill and lose weight!” Or how about “just drink these 4 shakes a day, no real food and poop your insides out! You’ll loose weight but don’t venture far from a toilet!” And “just eat these nutritionally dead frozen meals for the next year and get your dream body!” . I call 🐴 💩 on it all. . These products, skinny teas/shakes and pills don’t teach you how to rewrite your habits. They don’t know what hour body needs exactly in terms of health. All they do is drain your bank account dry. . What will get you the results you want is feeding your body calories from whole food, and movement. Lifting heavy and fuelling your body, plain and simple. A timeless solution to ageless problem. . Now, in the beginning it wasn’t easy. It’s not like I jumped up and everything changed in instant. I had to work at my consistency with my nutrition and workouts. I had to work through major mental blocks to deal with my binging. . It took working on my habits, my mindset and fitness day in and day out since 2015 when I made the decision that I wasn’t going to “diet” again but make a complete total lifestyle change the RIGHT WAY. . Little did I know how much it would change my life for the better. No quick fix can give you confidence, give you the work ethic and self development as much as this journey to better health and self can. . I know what it’s like to be at the start line and be staring into the distance of my journey wide eyed and in panic mode because then it meant I had to put out major effort. I had to work the hardest I have ever had to and I wouldn’t change it for the world. . If I am capable to get to where I am, then so are you. Make the commitment to yourself. ❤️

Anyone else feeling too hot to workout in this random summer we’re having in the UK😂

This morning I have drawn my inspiration from my journey back from when I was a teen. When I think back to how I felt and how I feel now, I’m a completely different person. I struggled with my weight up until I was around 24, I used to get told I was fat and ugly a lot back then. Those comments stick, especially when you get told this over and over again. Despite being so unhappy in my own skin and struggling with who I was, I used food as the answer. I was always creative from a young age and still used that as an outlet in my own space Really, I’m writing this to offer support to those who are struggling whether it be with their physical appearance or not feeling like they belong. I’ve been through it all physically and mentally, my heart goes out to you, I understand. I just want to let you know (whoever is reading this) that we evolve naturally into who we are supposed to be, you just need to have faith in yourself. It’s ok to be weird and creative in a way nobody else understands. It’s fine to be a loner in your own space or to be out anywhere and everywhere. Whatever your happiness is, do that as long as you’re not hurting anybody. Lastly, give zero fucks to the negativity that might be put on you for being different. Being so unique and motivated whilst being true to myself made me successful. So take comfort in knowing that things do get better. It’s just a matter of time and having faith in who you really are.
