** MEAL PREP 101 ** - Just to give you an idea of the kind of food I prep for a days consumption at work. I usually prep my meals on a Sunday night for me and my wife. - I have breakfast at 0700. High protein content. - Mid morning snack 1000 - whey protein shake and a banana. - Lunch 1230 - chicken and rice chilli stir fry with greens. 🍗🥦 - Mid afternoon snack 1500 - carrot sticks, red pepper and hummus. 🥕 - Drive home 1630 - Blueberries and Almonds.🥜 - Train 1700-1800 - Consuming Amino Acids during workout.💪 - Dinner 1815 - based around meat, carbs and veggies/salad 🥗🍲 - Evening snack 2100 - casein protein shake. - Once you get into a routine like this it’s mega easy to maintain and you’re getting all the good macros in the day along with exercise.🏃‍♂️🏋️‍♀️ - Don’t forget minimum 2-3L of water💦💦! - For all your fitness and nutrition needs follow me @the_ajroberts Send me a DM with any queries. - 80% nutrition, 20% exercise, 100% MINDSET!! 💪

↡↡ Weekend practice when kids are around ♡ I was questioned about yoga from a new friend. She had few ideas about what yoga might be. Soft, calm, meditation, slow movement, stillness, quiet and surrender. She said, “o, no I am too hyper for that, I can’t stand still longer than 3 breaths...” ↡↡ I had to laugh and I decided to explain my point of view about “MY” yoga practice ↠ Yoga is not only about posture or body melts in peace. The meditation is a part of yoga but not everything that yoga is ↠ I do move a lot and non stop in my yoga practice. One BREATH = is one MOVE. ↡↡ To me, yoga has rules and proves that it is so much more than a physical practice: it is the routine that (within its given structure) at all times provides just enough challenge to bring you into the state of flow, which is an extremely potent place to be intellectually, creatively and physically. ↡↡ Let’s add more SOUL in our lives. Try something new — before you judge yourself that you can’t.
