I guess I have to get a routine with this again. Been slacking from the gym the last month. Some how I mysteriously gained like 10lbs. I dont know where. It has to be the elevation of Denver and something to do with the position of Pluto or the fact Ive been a fatty for the last month. Today James and I went climbing for the first time in months! Its something we got into at the beginning of this year and really enjoyed doing together. James isnt massively into working out in the way that I am, he likes to be active and do sports. You know what they say, you are what you eat.

INJECTED SMOKE PULLED PORK This is the first time injecting a pork butt and it turned out incredible! I picked up a 10.5lb pork butt from the Phoenixville farmers market. I rubbed it down with with salt and pepper then Injected it with a solution of 75% apple juice and 25%apple cider vinegar. Then let it marinade over night. This morning I put in on the Original Grilla Grill smoker at 225°. It reached 172°in 7 hours. I removed it, wrapped it in butcher paper and placed it back on the grill until it hit 195°, another 90 minutes. I pulled it off, wrapped it in a big towel and let it rest in the oven while I prepared a homemade Mac and cheese with raw cheese and raw heavy cream from my farmer. As the video shows, the meat literally fell apart and was incredibly moist. The injection added some flavor, not a huge amount but noticeable. Have to play with injecting more. Next on my list of items to do is start experimenting with custom rubs and home made BBQ sauces. Its great not having to travel for quality BBQ. For what I pay at a restaurant for Michele and I, we can get multiple meals at home or host a party. ➕ PLUS I have control over the ingredients. I know exactly what I am eating. Its okay to experiment with different cooking methods and expand your horizons. BBQ has always been something I wanted to try but using wood charcoal is challenging at best, cooking with gas messes with taste and cooking with real wood is an artform I dont have the desire to learn. The Grilla Grill wood pellet smoker/grill is literally idiot proof. Plug it in, set the temp and go about your day. Just have to watch the temperature of the meat. Cooking can be healthy, tasty and easy. I 😍 Love My Grilla!! Nie mam problemu z bólami głowy itp., z zaśnięciem i zmęczeniem. Cały czas tryskam niekończącą się energia 😂🙊. Przede wszystkim zrozumiałam również jak ważna jest systematyczność. Przez czas trwania wyzwania pilnowałam się, aby pić siemię, kłaść się wcześniej spać, zwracać uwagę na to co jem i na treningi.🤗 Było warto wziąć udział w tym wyzwaniu. Postaram się pielęgnować nawyki, które podczas tych 5 tygodni nabyłam💪. Szkoda, że wyzwanie nie trwa dłużej. Pomimo to, nadal będę prowadzić tabelkę. Salmón al verdeo saludable!!! Ingredientes Merluzas Para la salsa: 1/2 limon 1 ajo picadito 2 plantas de verdeo 4 cucharadas soperas de casancrem Sal Preparación 1-Colocar aceite en spray en un recipiente, luego incorporar el limon y agregar la merluza. 2-Aparte cortarle el verdeo y agregar el casancrem. 3- Mezclar todo en una preparación y agrégale las merluzas. Jonelle included a water mandala flow and lots of hip openers whilst Christine soothed us with her playing - those vibrations get deep inside you! *** I used to spend so many Sundays working but since I had the breast cancer recurrence, I’ve ensured that Sundays are for sleep, some sort of movement, self care, meditation and friends. Everyone needs a day away from their laptop and phones to just be! *** Jonelle has just been the most fantastic friend this year, but particularly when I found out about the cancer. She’s been around and cooked for me, found me a therapist, created yoga flows that work with my surgery, been at the end of the phone for rants and giggles and so much more. She’s been brutally honest and with so much love, that I trust her implicitly. Everyone she introduces me to has some positive impact in my life - Christine being one of those ladies. *** So I’m pretty excited to know that I’ll be starting New Year with these two at a special workshop Out with the Old @yogariselondon on New Year’s Day!
