Hi👋🏼 I made this account because for years now I’ve struggled with my relationship with food, my body and exercise. After being put on heavy mental health medication at the age of 16 I gained a lot of weight and basically just didn’t stop gaining. As well as this I developed an unhealthy relationship with food, I’m a big emotional eater and struggle with bingeing. It’s been a really destructive cycle and I feel I’m ready to start making some changes to become healthier and happier. I’m really not happy or comfortable in my body at the moment, and I know losing weight won’t fix all my problems, however I’m hoping if I can get my pre-meds body back I’ll be perhaps more confident in myself. I’m not following a specific diet or anything, I’m just going to be calorie counting and gradually building up my activity levels. GOALS: 1: tackle unhealthy eating habits head on and develop a more mindful approach when it comes to food. 2: get to my 1st target weight. 3: become fitter along the way by adding more exercise into my routine (I don’t want to be out of breath just by walking up the stairs anymore😳) ~~~ ~~~ So yeah! I’m nervous, to be honest. Because I’ve tried losing weight so many times and it’s never worked because I make up excuses and the road gets too rough, but this is something I really do want and I’m prepared to fight for it! It’ll just take time, and I need to accept that and take each day as it comes🌸 (This picture was taken of me in September when I was at my highest weight).

I suffered from chronic anemia and took iron twice daily to avoid blood transfusions. I was diagnosed with fatty liver a while back but it was only getting worse, and I had been told if my blood sugars with metformin didnt level out Id be diagnosed with type 2 diabetes...I was anxious, depressed, and dying. They had given me anxiety & depression medication. I was being referred to a specialist because my blood pressure couldnt be controlled. I literally couldnt handle the life I had created. This wasnt anyone elses fault but my own. Its not family history or genetics, its poor choices on my part. I own up to every one of them, and Im happy to report that all of that has changed. I have lost over 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ lbs in 9️⃣0️⃣ days!!!!! With a clear, driven, and focused mindset and lifestyle my life has been transformed!! The FEARS we don’t face become our LIMITS!! . I remember feeling SO UNCOMFORTABLE! I was uncomfortable in my skin, in my body, in the world, I was just so lost. Being a new mom had changed everything for me and I didn’t know how to handle it all. There was this tiny person that needed me to take care of them and at that the time, I didn’t want to admit it but along with all that JOY came FEAR! . FEAR OF FAILURE! FEAR OF JUDGEMENT!! FEAR OF THE UNKNONW! FEAR JUST FEAR! . And that FEAR started my spiral into the unknown. I would put on the brave face for everyone (including my hubby, most days) but I was drowning inside and didn’t know where to turn. I was eating and drinking based on my emotions, which were ALL over the place and the pounds just kept adding up with every bite. I WAS JUST SO LOST! - Can anyone RELATE?? . Until one day the opportunity I so DESPERATLY NEEDED, came along in the form of a long-lost friend who asked me the hard questions about my health & fitness and I answered honestly. And realized that I WOULN’T LET MY FEAR get in the way of MY HAPPIENSS AND HEALTH! . Fast forward to today…… I’m so thankful that I FINALLY STOPPED letting MY FEARS CONTROL ME, and started my health and fitness journey!
