I think it’s been at least a month since I’ve really been doing any inversion practice. Hello my brain people!😄 (ESPAÑOL click en VER TRADUCCION) As you might know I usually practice Yoga at least 3 times a week, in which the meditation is included. I always recommend Yoga because its a superior level of exercise. Yoga works like when you have a wet towel and you want to squeeze the water out of it, the same like the muscles with tension when stretching. You stretch the muscle and while you breath, you learn how to get that tension out. Usually I suggest to people to do at least 15 classes the first time you try it😃, so you can learn the process and take a 100% advantage of its benefits.🤷‍♀️ There are many types of yoga. Get a bit of hang time or come right down and switch sides! *Dolphin L switches - same same, but keep bottom leg straight as you kick up into an L shape. 📍If you have tight hips, low-back pain, herniated/bulging disc, sciatica, etc!⁣ ⁣ This stretch is FOR YOU!⁣ ⁣ This baby is called the Figure 4 Stretch. This will stretch your low-back, hips, and glutes⁣ ⁣ When I had bad sciatica going on, this stretch played a big role in reducing my pain and getting me back to having no low-back pain⁣ ⁣ I’m not saying it will completely “solve” it for you, but it’s an important ingredient to add in to help solve your pain⁣ ⁣ Here’s how to do it:⁣ ⁣ 🔺Lie on your back with bent knees, feet flat on floor⁣ ⁣ 🔺Cross your right ankle over your left knee, basically into a shape of a “4”⁣ ⁣ 🔺Grasp your hands behind your left knee and gently pull your legs toward chest⁣ ⁣ 🔺As you’re doing that, PUSH your right knee away from your chest⁣ ⁣ 🔺Hold for 30 seconds for 1 rep. Do 2-3 sets. Switch legs and repeat!

Chair dips with split. Variation: The knees-bent chair dip is the most basic version of the exercise. For a more challenging exercise, extend your legs in front of you so that your weight is on your heels. With your legs extended out, you have to press more of your body weight, increasing the difficulty of the exercise. Benefits: The triceps are a three-headed muscle located on the backs of your upper arms. When your triceps contract, your arm extends, or straightens. During the dip, the triceps are responsible for straightening your arms and lifting the weight of your body. While you are hanging out in this pose, the hamstrings of your legs will be getting a wicked stretch. The thigh muscles will be toned.
