Low-carb, high protein, medium effort cauliflower waffles. Top it with a sunny side up egg and have the best Sunday! ☀️😍💪🏼 By @feelgoodfoodie ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ INGREDIENTS 2 cups cauliflower grated 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 2 eggs 2 tablespoons flour 1/2 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp oregano Salt and pepper INSTRUCTIONS Preheat the waffle iron. Cut the cauliflower in half. Save half for another use, and cut the florets from the other half. Pulse the florets in a food processor until the cauliflower is minced and looks almost like rice or couscous. Transfer the cauliflower to a bowl, then add the cheese, eggs, flour, paprika, onion powder, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix together until well-blended. Spray the waffle maker with non-stick spray and add about one cup of the cauliflower mixture to the pre-heated waffle iron. Cook for 6 minutes. Remove the cauliflower waffle from the waffle iron and make the next waffle. Why fat-burners, eating less and exercising more isnt a sustainable way to achieve fat loss. Simply put - Fat burners, eating less and exercising more does not create the demand to burn body fat long-term, but it actually creates the need for the metabolism to slow down (resulting in the body storing fat and burning muscle tissue). Basically when we are starving, our body wants to hold on to as much stored energy as possible (body fat being a fabulous source of stored energy). Muscle burns more calories at rest, and our bodies are quite aware of this - which is why when we are starved, our bodies will burn muscle tissue to conserve more energy. Not only can starving ourselves result in muscle-loss and a slowed metabolism, but an adequate amount of carbohydrates are necessary for proper thyroid activity (the conversion of T4 to T3), meaning it can actually cause weight gain by inhibiting thyroid activity. Of course - building a sufficient amount of lean muscle can be very beneficial to increasing your metabolism and the amount of calories you burn at rest - but in excess (without proper recovery), it can increase cortisol and lower your metabolism. I also never recommend fat-burners that contain high doses of stimulants to my clients - as most just increase cortisol, as well as damage your liver and your gut (all being no bueno for fat-loss long-term). Instead of adding supplements to activate your sympathetic nervous system (fat-burners), I usually recommend supplements to balance out our bodies through hormones, our gut & our thyroid annnnd supplements to add in that we don’t get enough of through our food to help our bodies help us efficiently & effectively. Exercise smarter, not more. Focus on recovery, gut health and hormonal health💛. P.S. Add a bit of water for the broth.🍉3. Add both veg + salt, pepper, sugar.🍉4. Serve when the veg is cooked. Its yummy n refreshing!😋🤤 . . 🥝Fried tempe/tofu:🍉1. Mash up some garlic (i like to use quite a lot) + salt on a pestle n mortar til soft.🍉2. Add a bit of water.🍉3. Marinate the scored tempe n tofu (wld b better if u can leave it for a while so it absorbs, but if ur rushing it still works fine).🍉4. Shallow fry/air fry to cook.😋🤤 . . 🥝Sambel bawang jeruk nipis (chilli paste w a squeeze of lime):🍉1. On a pestle n mortar, mash up some chillies (the small red orangey ones) + garlic (not too mch) + just a bit of salt + some hot leftover oil frm frying (has got to b hot!!) + a bit of lime squeeze.🍉2. Mix well. . . Spaghetti whole grain noodles 🍜 with fresh tomotoes, herbs more veggies and ground turkey. Aside with asparagus/mixed veggies. Dont forget your gallon of WATER a day. What are you eating this week ? Plan ahead look up recipes and create some healthy and good meals with your family every week change as a whole not just by yourself.
