I’ve never made it before and OMG this was literally the BEST recipe I have EVER made in my entire life and from #runfastcookfasteatslow #runfasteatslow. Not only that, it made my house smell like a damn Christmas bomb went off. Between the raisins, cinnamon, melted molasses and coconut oil.... I just can’t get over it. I plan on putting these in cute jars and gifting them for Christmas. With it all crumbly and stuck together in little bits and pieces. What I do have to add is that a lot of these foods that are misrepresented to be on the left here are actually great, especially those eggs and bread! A healthy amount of protein (I eat a lot of eggs) and carbs for energy has been essential in my fitness journey. _ From halfmybody: ❌IMO, its complete rubbish❌ I see this picture to insinuate that those who are overweight just eat those bad foods and those who are smaller are the only ones that eat well. Just because someone is overweight does not mean that they have overeaten on carbs - someone can eat all healthy foods and be overweight too!!!!! Being overweight can also be caused by medical issues. At the same time, smaller people may just only be eating unhealthy food. ❌You cant tell by someones size what types of food they are eating. Ive seen this picture around a lot and I find it to be a generalisation BASED ON STEREOTYPES and could be taken as offensive. _ I absolutely agree with the above and its so frustrating to see stuff like this generalizing peoples journey. Body size is dependent on so many things: genetics, bone structure, workout regimen, any medical conditions, etc that its very ignorant to assume just because someones body looks a certain way that they only eat certain things! Its really important to focus on eating a lot of good fats, especially when youre first starting keto. When first starting keto, I try to keep it very simple, so I can properly track my macros. Carb Cycling, what is it? Carb cycling is a dietary approach in which you alternate carb intake on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. It is commonly used to lose fat, maintain physical performance while dieting, or overcome a weight loss plateau. Week 3 of: Carb cycling, I have eliminated ALL carbs this week. So as you see my lunches, have doubled on veggies. My snacks have doubled on veggies and protein. I miss my dinner carb, but only until Friday is it this way, not too bad and I feel leaner, even though I cant finish out the high endurance part of my program due to my knee, I am still following the meal plan out. I absolutely recommend carb cycling but, like I have said...only for a short time fram..3 weeks is max for it, in my opinion and back to balance. A change up to the system is never bad, then replenish with the carbs that we need. Do not be scared of carbs, you need them..no reason to forever eliminate, thats a misconception. RECIPE 1/4 cup coconut flour 1 scoop casein protein (preferably not chocolate) 1 egg 1/4 cup milk 2 Tbsp coconut oil 2g stevia Pinch of baking soda . . Fat free whipped cream (you can use full fat, it’s not too many more calories but the nutrition info is for fat free) Fresh Strawberries . . PREPARATION: 1) Preheat your oven to 325F 2)Mix together the protein powder, coconut flour, stevia, and baking soda. 3) Melt the coconut oil, beat the egg. Mix the egg, milk, and coconut oil together. 4) Stir wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. 5) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with oil. Instead of “I can’t eat that” try to think of all the wonderful, yummy foods you get to try and have fun with it! Remember, healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring. . Instead of focusing on the areas of your body you don’t like, celebrate it for the weekly progress you’re making and try to stay away from comparing yourself to others. Are you able to do more push-ups? Lift heavier? Run further? Those are all wins! . Instead of focusing on looks alone or just the number on the scale, use an array of measurements and motivations. Think about how much better you’re feeling. In addition to the scale, use progress pics or how your clothes are fitting to help you gauge your success to. . At the end of the day, tying a greater WHY to your motivation to get healthy will help you stay committed through the ups and downs. Not tracking calories and macros or following a training split has actually been really enjoyable these past few weeks. Im such a structured & routine person but my sleep is non existant atm 😔😔😔 so just doing what ever feels right each day. Some days training isnt the right option as Im exhausted & others its great. Today, it felt good! What else seemed like a good idea was two dressings in my super basic chicken & lettuce salad - so basic, yet so delicious 😋😋

Dietary fat is an essential part of our diet and is important for good health. There are different types of fat with some being healthier than others. When eating in large amounts, fats can contribute to weight gain as they are higher in calories than protein and carbs, so it’s good to portion control. Eat less or avoid saturated fat and trans fat to help lower the risk of heart disease. ✨ Healthier fats include monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats (omega-3 and omega-6). ✨ Sources of monounsaturated fat include: avocados almonds, cashews and peanuts cooking oils made from plants or seeds like canola, olive, peanut, soybean, rice bran, sesame and sunflower oils. Sources of polyunsaturated fat (both omega-3 and omega-6) include: fish, tahini (sesame seed spread), linseed (flaxseed) and chia seeds and spreads made from these oils pine nuts, walnuts and Brazil nuts.

Gluten free, grain free, almost added sugar free (the chocolate chips have some). These are one of my favorite sweet treats to make. They are super easy and a great way to use up some old bananas 🍌 . . All you have to do to make these muffins is throw all the ingredients minus the chocolate chips in a blender and pour it in a muffin tin. Top with a few chocolate chips. Bake at 400F for 8 minutes. Each muffin has around 100 calories if you make 24 of them. A lot of these calories come from the peanut butter. You could certainly get creative and come up with some ways to reduce the amount of peanut butter if you are interested in being more calorie conscious. There are other nut/seed butters that are lower calorie but more expensive. . . Give these a try next time you have some bananas that are about to go bad. Make sure you understand that while these use healthier ingredients they are still very easy to overeat. You need to be cautious you stay within your goals. Because they are mini muffins, it is super easy to just pop them in your mouth mindlessly. Just because they use bananas and peanut butter as the main ingredients doesn’t make them “healthy”. Make sure you are aware of how these fit into your own personal equation of calorie balance!! . . NUDE YEAR NEW ME I always get asked at Nude Food for low or no carb meal plans and I have so far said no because it isnt something that we believe in at Nude Food to cut out carbs completely. Carbs are our main source of energy and part of Nude Foods beliefs are that food should make you feel AMAZING and fuel you through your day. But it is also something that I had never personally tried myself, so maybe I wasnt able to make that judgement. So, with a fitness photoshoot coming up, I put myself on a strict 3 week diet plan, a tiny part of what a body builder does going to stage. I manipulated my food and water intake with the intention of shredded the fat and removing excess water for me to look as lean as I can in 3 weeks. The diet that I stuck to will NOT be offered at Nude Food - check out the vlogs on the You Tube Channel for the reasons why. Unless you are working towards something very specific and have good people around you who understand the process and can support you, I would NOT recommend this to anyone. However, taking the principles of what I have been through as it isnt just a case of eat less and lose weight, it is very methodical, Nude Food will be offering a package incorporating some of the ideas from this but in a safer way which will still make you feel great and without the lack of energy.
