Because it was nap time. It doesn’t take much space and it doesn’t take much time, to just move your body! One of my favorite moves : the jump squat. Never thought I would be a big fan of at home workouts but life has made it that way. Some days the gym is not an option so having basic workout stuff at home helps.... 💪🏾🏃🏾‍♀️🏋🏾‍♀️

Rows for building rear delts 🙌🏻🙌🏻. . This weekend was fabulous with @n1.education . I loved being surrounded by people who weren’t satisfied with knowing the basics but wanted to dig deeper and really understand the big picture. It made me think of a few things. As I meet trainers and coaches I find a few trends. . ▪️someone decided to prep for a show, got super shredded and all the sudden everyone wants to hire them bc they think “well, if they are shredded it means they know how to get other people that way too!” The client doesn’t take into account the individuals actual knowledge or genetics, just looks at the aesthetics and thinks, i want to look like that! . Another route to training I see is someone who enjoys working out who decides to go down the traditional route of certification so they can train others. . Now, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with these two approaches leading toward being a coach or helping others. The damage comes when the coach is content with what worked for them, or the basic information they learned in their certification program. I see coaches think ‘this is what I learned so it works. And if a client doesn’t see changes it’s on them bc they aren’t following the plan.’ But maybe they are following the plan to a T!! . . Don’t go by what a person looks like, or a certification (although both of those can be great!) there is much more to YOUR body than that. Find someone who cares and will give the time needed to hack your body. Bc the truth is everything at the beginning is an educated guess, and depending on the coach depends on HOW educated the guess is. 😁. A coach who is never satisfied with what they know and is constantly learning and researching, will have a greater chance of helping you bc they are not restricted to something like just a basic macros knowledge, or ‘These are my favorite exercises’ program design approach. . I still make mistakes, I still have a lot to learn, and ya know what?!! there is NOTHING wrong with that! There is only something wrong when we decide we know enough. THATS what will hold an individual back in anything in life!

As much fun as it is to only share the super glam pics, I never want to misrepresent who I am/what my actual day-to-day life is like.⁣ ⁣ For the most part, I live in sweats or gym clothes - I definitely interact with poop from another human and/or a dog at LEAST once a day (that’s a massive understatement 😂). I mostly work from home so I can see my dudes as much as possible. I struggle to juggle all of the things just like everyone else. My nutrition isn’t always awesome - my training doesn’t always fit in perfectly (sorry @bretcontreras1 ). I deal with cranky kiddos and meltdowns and refusals to eat. If you see me with a hat on you can rest assure it’s because I haven’t washed my hair 😂 - I’m a mom. I have issues. I struggle to stay calm. I cry. My workout buddy! This kids is totally different when he doesn’t work out! Not kidding you, he didn’t work out yesterday and he was nothing but rude, short tempered, and mouthy! 😭😤 Today we woke up, went to the gym, got 10 min on the treadmill- then arms and abs baby!!! ☺️ 3 sets of 10 for us for most of the moves. The TRX Enzo had a hard time with but still got a few pulls in. Smiles, laughs, jokes were made! He’s happy, not mouthy, hugs to all the girls as we left! 😆 Enzo is loving life! Make them stronger mentally and physically- that’s what I can do to prepare him for the real world. Keep your smiles on, your laughter loud and you kindness spreadable! Поддержка близких - это важно☝🏼 ⠀ Моему мужу нужно поставить памятник при жизни, без шуток... Я безгранично благодарна ему, что он поддерживает меня, помогает и мотивирует👌🏼. Он без труда остаётся с детьми, когда я уезжаю в спортзал. Объезжает магазины до тех пор, пока не купит все продукты, указанные мной в списке (найти сахзам или джем без сахара бывает не так-то просто😅). Терпеливо слушает мои разговоры о спорте и КБЖУ, хотя сам далёк от этого🙈😁. ⠀ Но так было не всегда... Когда я начала менять свой образ жизни, он мягко говоря, в меня не верил🤨. Считал, что это все несерьезно и хватит меня не надолго, пройдёт не так много времени и я брошу все это дело. Мои походы в спортзал, в то время, вообще больная тема...😅. И как я могу есть эту гадость он тоже не мог понять🤷🏼‍♀🤭. ⠀ Но как только он понял, насколько это для меня важно. Что это не просто прихоть или временное помешательство😅, а теперь это мой образ жизни, все изменилось. Он стал не просто принимать мои изменения, но и поддерживать меня🤗. Бывают моменты, когда кажется, что сил уже нет и хочется послать все куда подальше, он рядом, не даёт мне все бросить, всегда находит нужные слова😘. ⠀ А ваши близкие поддерживают вас в ваших начинаниях? Или желании что-то изменить?😊

Nothing quite changes you as much as giving birth. No book or class really prepares you either. You think “I’ll still be me” and yes, to some extent you will, but the “me” you used to know is gone. Having gone through this 3 times now, I can tell you for certain I never thought I’d love so fiercely I could cry or feel the urge to cry at any given moment😂 I never thought Saturday nights could EVER be fun without going out drinking. I never thought I’d leave the house without makeup or getting myself dressed🤦🏻‍♀️ And I never thought my body would physically change to a place I didn’t know or recognize. But the truth is, all of these things have happened. On top of getting to know my new little, I need to get to know a new me. It comes down to shifting priorities and, too often, moms tend to put everyone else first. I’m not trying to be a martyr here but it’s true. And slowly you lose yourself. Does this sound familiar at all? • But you’re not gone, you just need to make yourself a priority too. It’s not selfish - “A happy wife, a happy life.” “If momma ain’t happy ain’t nobody happy.” and “Fill your own cup so you can pour into others”. This last one should make it abundantly clear that taking time for YOU, to better yourself, can only help you take care of your family and the work you hold dear. For me, it’s exercise. More than just physically working out my body but mentally overcoming the doubt, stress, anxiety, frustration that comes with being a parent. Working out the emotions that literally flood out of me through sweat and tears. It’s so much more than a workout. It’s commitment, it’s reassurance that “I GOT THIS”, it’s the confidence I feel when I’m done “YOU’RE A BADASS AND CAN TACKLE ANYTHING LIFE THROWS AT YOU.” It’s so much more than a workout. • I tell you mommas, birth changes you, in many ways for the better. It’s ok to long for the old you, but meet yourself where you’re at TODAY and decide to commit to filling your cup first. Commit to challenging yourself physically, mentally and emotionally. Post vacation check-in⁣ ⁣ Not a bite of food was tracked. I didn’t step foot in a gym. I ordered what sounded good to me, I drank all the champagne and probably a few too many tequila shots 😬🤷🏻‍♀️, I honestly didn’t think about dieting or working out whatsoever.....I came home 2 pounds lighter than the morning I left.⁣ ⁣ Something I work really hard to instill in my clients is learning to relax - it easy to become a robot when you’re trying to lose weight or get fit...but where’s the balance? Life goes on around you and you’re so focused that you miss it and then end up binging and thus gaining the weight back. This is exactly the opposite of the goal. ⁣ ⁣ One of the questions on my intake forms for new clients is: “what would it mean to be free of the mental and physical struggle that is yo-yo dieting?” 100% of the time, the answer is; “absolutely everything”. ⁣ ⁣ This process doesn’t come in 12 weeks....it doesn’t come from a “food freedom” e-book....it isn’t something you wake up with and all of the sudden never think about again....which is exactly why I have not one but TWO licensed mental health therapists on my staff and why I love what we do - helping women and men find balance....not freedom, we are already free and our freedom has lead to limitless boundaries and a place of discomfort, insecurity, and feeling lost when it comes to your diet and your body. ⁣ ⁣ The gift isn’t freedom. It’s Bust a move Monday! A another week to crush those goals! Today was about cardio, 2.13 mile run on the #treadmill followed by 20 mins on the #stairmaster .....which gave me right around 40 mins of cardio 🏃🏾‍♀️💪🏾🏋🏾‍♀️! I’ve decided to rename my Monday’s to Smash it Monday!! Each week I’m setting myself a challenge to better myself from the week before so tonight I did just that and leg pressed 150kg 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🥳🥳🥳 I wish I had some video of it but my friend and training buddy Carlos was on stand by to help me out if my legs bent in half!!! I had done an hour of body pump too so legs were tired but I really pushed myself and I’m glad I did. I managed 3 rounds of 8 so well chuffed!! Leg workout as follows: 3 rounds 12 of each Leg press 80kg/100kg/120kg Alternate single leg press 50kg Smiths machine squats 20kg/30kg/40kg First time I’ve used the Smiths Machine and know I need to work on my squat technique it’s so different to pump! Must get deeper!! #MotivationMonday My senior year of high school-this Saturday! Almost 9 years!!! In sooo many ways I’m that same girl! Crazy, loud, passionate about my friends and family, hard worker, motivated etc etc. But I am also SOOOO different. Mature, happy, absolutely in love with myself. Secure, confident etc. I spent high school comparing myself to every other girl around me. (Who didn’t, right?) I was jealous, insecure, judge mental and I thought that talking shit about others to my friends made me look cooler.. when in reality I was jealous of 99% of the girls I talked trash on. Jealousy, insecurity, unhappiness.. those are ugly. And they make you ugly! Now i try my hardest NOT to compare myself to ANYONE (it’s hard sometimes), I try my hardest not to talk about other people (also hard sometimes), and I try my hardest to love myself day in and day out (also super hard sometimes). The journey to self love is sometimes hard. But it is SO SO worth it!!! So this Monday.. I challenge you to love yourself a little harder ❤️❤️ because YOU are solid gold baby!!

Only issue for me is.. it doesn’t last forever 😭😭. . 2018 started out boss as hell. I worked out every day, Keto’d myself to insanity etc etc. but then ONE cheat day happened and I literally struggled with keto off and on the whole rest of the year. I love keto because it works and it works fast. But damn it gives me stomach pains like I’ve never had before ANY TIME I cheat. And I seem to never be able to bounce back, get enough fat etc. soooo for 2019 I’m keeping it extremely simple. Back to basics. . More out than in ✌🏻💪🏻. I want to work my ass off , watch my calories and stick with counting macros rather then eliminating an entire food group! That life is clearly not for me 😂😂 . I’m happy with the body I’m entering 2019 in ❤️❤️ took me a looooong time to feel that way but I work on it every day! It’s an amazing canvas to start this transformation in 💪🏻 can’t wait to see where it takes me!! . My Christmas list is literally nothing but health and fitness stuff haha LETS FUCKING DO THIS!!! ❤️❤️💪🏻 . PS. Sorry about the dirty mirror bahaha I’ll work on it 😂

I started this accountability IG 5 years ago with my best friend. In that time so much has changed. I’ve started over and quit every bit of 100 times.. I’ve lost weight and I’ve gained weight.
