Doing some lunges in almost every direction! This morning I was in a funk. I just didn’t feel like myself- no real rhyme or reason. I got my workout in, but even then, I was still off. 🤷🏼‍♀️ . We had a fun on our adventure today, but it wasn’t until we got home and I took a nap that I felt in a better place mentally. I just needed sleep. 😴 . I have big goals, but I realized if I’m not listening to my body, it’s going to be much more difficult to achieve them. 👊🏻 . Over these past few months I’ve realized just how important self care is. I made this simple diy mattress deodorizer and while our bed linens were being laundered, I sprinkled it all over the mattress and let it sit for several hours. right before they were done, the hubs vacuumed the remainder and now we have a super fresh bed to sleep in :) if you’re interested, the recipe is in my stories.

A lot of running happened this morning. . Starting with a lone jog from the tire shop home and then a shorter one with the pup. She needs her weekly long jog too. 😀 . My awesome morning! Got up and decided that I need to change how I feel. I am the only one that can make me happy. So despite the arm pain I have been having for months now and my other health issues I decided to start working out again. I worked around the pain and started lifting light. Felt great to lift shit again. Yes I hurt more but nothing super worse then it has been feeling. Felt great to be working towards changing my mindset on how I am feeling about myself. This won’t be easy and won’t be pretty. But it’s a start. I need to stop eating shit because I’m stressed. When I was eating healthy I felt better and had more energy to workout. I need to stop stressing over things and just keep pushing on and ignore the drama in my life. Once I get the surgery on my arm and heal then watch out. Shit will get real! 💪🏻 Tomorrow getting my 80’s on with @xwarriorchallenge and my Stubborn Warriors Team at 11am. Fast & Fun #athomeworkout Workout In under 15 minutes • Do it once in the morning or even multiple times throughout the day to keep your metabolism roaring! • Focus on getting through the movement by mindfully elongating your muscles with control then powerfully contracting them... • MAKE YOUR MUSCLES DO THE WORK!.... don’t just go through the motions as fast as possible... That’s cardio! • Control the Resistance and actively feel those muscles you want to see grow! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 • Do 8-12 reps for 4-8 sets minimal rest between sets 1 set= all movements done back to back Movements: - Band pull apart ( warm up those back muscles) - Romanian Deadlift/ Hip hinge - Goblet Squat - Bent over row ( I did not have the best form in the first round... watch the subtle movement of bringing my “ribs down” and see just how much of a difference that makes 🤗) :::::::::::::::: Happy Saturday Friends! • Try this little workout out! • No equipment?
