Hit legs REALLL quick this morning cuz I’m finally moving back to phillyyyyyy 🤙🏽 • • Supersetting is a nice tool to use when you are short on time but still want to get all of your exercises in 🍑 • • For beginners, a superset is going to be 2 exercises that work the same muscle group. One exercise should be a strength exercise, and the other can be something more for accessory work without weights • • For example, for legs, a good superset would be a barbell deadlift super setted with a body weight squat (or single leg squat if your up for the challenge 😉) • • For a superset to be effective, perform the two exercises immediately after each other with about a minute to 90 seconds rest in between sets. The point is to get your heart rate up during these exercises. With an injury to both of my knees I have rested my legs for a week and a half (with the exception of physio and corrective exercise). Today I am focusing on the eccentric aspect of the exercise with a lighter weight. So many people think that I have no insecurities about my body (the body that took me a LONG TIME to get back to where it is)... this is FALSE! We all struggle with insecurities; especially in a world of perfect Instagram selfies & unrealistic expectations that we are connected to 24/7. Air brushed & filtered photos with perfect makeup are all we see when we pick up our social media. When I’m experiencing these negative feelings, I do often try remember that this body has been amazing to me. It has given me healthy children, it is so strong & allows me to spin & train daily, I am grateful for it. And I will continue daily to work on it because I LOVE it. It’s mine. It’s a gift from God. Tonights practice session was brief but quality. Had about 15 minutes on the @toptracer booth before they had to shut it down for the night. Image 1 was my best hit kn the Longest Drive program.. 347 in the grid. Video 1 & 2 were with the @callawaygolf #callawayxr16 9° driver that I set the loft with a -1. Video 3 was my old garage sale @titleist 1-iron. And, video 4 was with a garage sale 2-iron made by Cameron(🤷🏽‍♂️) I picked these up years ago and cleaned them up. I need to replace the grip on these but they still hit very solid! Video 5 was my last shot with the driver (Rule#1 Always end on a good one!) I’m really starting to dial it in with this new club. I’ve even changed my grip and where I set up to the ball. Next Image was is of the new @superstrokegolf Counter Core I had put on my putter tonight.
