This girl. ❤️❤️❤️ . She is one of the reasons I wake up early in the morning to read my personal development and get my workout in. She’s one of the reasons I meal prep on Sundays and made my account public on social media. She’s one of the reasons I continue to share about my health/fitness journey. . So it’s only fitting to say... she is the reason I did not get my workout in or read my personal development this morning. Because... family first. . She woke up late last night with both eyes swollen shut. She couldn’t open them. After talking to the doctor, we spent the rest of the night checking her every 45 minutes to make sure she wasn’t getting worse and was breathing ok. When I left for work, she was able to open her eyes ever so slightly. The crazy thing... her spirits have not been crushed and she is still her wonderful, energetic self. 🤩 . Luckily Ben was able to stay home with her and take her to see the doctor. The good news- it’s not related to her kidneys. The not so good news- we have no idea what caused it. Ive been MIA for a bit. Being off since last Wednesday has been so awesome, I have enjoyed my days off with my littles and hubby doing housework, shopping, being lazy, and eating lots of yummy food. I havent worked out today but thats ok because I know I will get it in by end of night. Its been nice getting out of the routine and having some time to slow down and take time to be with my family and take a mini social media breaks throughout the day.
Priority level: 1 . . . Sometimes skipping a workout is necessary. Sometimes it’s worth it. Trip was up a bit earlier than usual and just wanted to lay on me. I gladly obliged! Happy Friday!!! I decided to hold off on my workout this morning due to my back still feeling hacked up. I am very uncomfortable and my right leg hurts too. Phase 2 week 1 Redo!!! So I had everything ready to go to workout this morning at 6am...and what do you know...my 3yr old woke up at 430am to go potty...which is great...kudos to her...buuutttt... I’ve hit a few struggles these past two weeks with working out and eating right. 😨🙈Easton has been waking up anytime I go workout. It doesn’t matter how early or late I stay up. Tonight, I got my workout in and he’s still asleep!!!!! 😊😊Don’t get me wrong, I do not mind him interrupting my workouts, but I could just decide to throw in the towel. NO WAY!! I’m still here. Every fucking time my husband goes to work super early, I sleep in. He even told me this morning “Don’t sleep in” and I....slept in 😞😞 This super sucks for me for two reasons One- I am actually lazy AF when I am done with work I don’t want to do shit! 💯💯I want to make dinner, hang with my family, sit my ass on my couch, put on a movie and not move until I go to bed...so getting an intense workout done after works sucks balls! Two- I don’t usually have time to workout anytime after 4am....most people that peep my story are like “Girl you’re crazy! You wake up at 3:45 am?!?!” It’s the only time I have usually! Ditched my morning workout since its a gym day with hubby tonight!😊💑💪🏼 . . We havent eaten the greatest for about a month & a half and Im like so miserable with where Im at physically!😖 Its my own fault and Im taking full ownership. . Beginning with this -- my Shakeology! 3 years ago I committed to drinking this nutritional shake. Since then it has helped give me the natural boost of energy I need. Its helped me curb my sweet tooth cravings because the chocolate flavor seriously is what my body wants! Please and thank you! When it rains it pours. Had a rough couple weeks. The icing on the cake this weekend happened on Saturday night. I tore a left calf muscle. So instead of being up and at the gym Im sitting in bed with and ice pack resting. I kept trying to figure it a way to make it in to the gym but was politely reminded that rest is best. Im a creature of habit and this is hard! Im going to struggle through this resting part in hopes that it means I wont need an Orthopaedic surgeon to fix this injury and the rest will help my body heal on its own. #onthemend #nomorningworkout #restisbest #calftear

I was awake before the alarm again but instead of getting up and working out I shut it off. What made me shut it off? Pilates. 😂 Knowing that was the workout I had on the schedule today I was not looking forward to getting up. Pilates and yoga for me are right up there with doctors visits. Dont like it. Dont want to do it. So I got a little extra sleep. About 5 minutes into work I knew I should have just sucked it up and got it done because Im having a rough time waking up and concentrating. Im not 100% sure what the mental block stems from that I have against those type of workouts. I know part of it is I cant stand the slower pace. Also, I suck at them. Which is why I know I need to do them more. So for accountability purposes I am putting it out there. I WILL do my Pilates workout today at lunch. I will post proof. I am stepping out of my comfort zone and getting it done. 😫
Today calls for lots of coffee☕️. I slept in this morning because the last few nights I have gone to bed late and been woken up for one reason or another. Two nights ago I woke up in a pool of sweat to find out our thermostat wasn’t working. Last night I woke up to the sound of my dog puking under our bed 😱😖. I have to grocery shop after work tonight. Hoping to get in a workout after that, but I may have to sleep walk through it. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! Also, I’m pretty sure my restless nights are also caused by my pillow and the fact that I need a new mattress. I love the one we bought a few years back, but it’s time for a new one and they discontinued our model. Any suggestion on good pillows and/or mattresses? Right now we have an ultra plush.
Hey almonds.... Were no longer friends. . Ive thought for a while almonds have been causing some of my allergic reactions so Ive stayed far away from them, until yesterday when I figured I could eat some trail mix and just not eat the almonds. Yeah that didnt work :/ cross contamination B hello 😜 . Tongue swollen, eating jaw, ears, and fingers called for 2 benedryl at 9:30pm last night. As you can see my workout did not happen this morning. Once again it becomes rest day because of these dang allergies. I will figure you bad boys out I promise! . What are you allergic too?
