Weve jumped on the cauliflower train and have to admint, its pretty delicious. If you love chicken wings you need to try this HONEY HOT CAULIFLOWER recipe. It is SO good! Its also really hot so we recommend dipping them in ranch or blue cheese dressing. . HONEY HOT CAULIFLOWER . Ingredients . olive oil cooking spray 3/4 cup flour (can use gluten-free flour) 1 cup water 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder salt and ground black pepper to taste 2 heads cauliflower, cut into bite-size pieces 2 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup hot pepper sauce (such as Franks RedHot®) 1 tablespoon Peace River Honey . Directions . Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray. . Mix flour, water, garlic powder, salt, and pepper together in a bowl using a whisk until batter is smooth and somewhat runny. Add cauliflower to batter and mix until cauliflower is coated; spread onto the baking sheet. . Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, 20 to 25 minutes. . Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove saucepan from heat and stir hot pepper sauce and honey into butter until smooth. Brush hot sauce mixture over each cauliflower piece, repeating brushing until all the hot sauce mixture is used. . Bake in the oven until cauliflower is browned, about 10 minutes. Remove baking sheet from oven and allow the cauliflower to cool 10 to 15 minutes. . ENJOY!

One of the farmers at the market had just cut a pig this morning, and these organs had just been pulled out. Completely fresh heart, brains, tongue, liver and kidneys. The most nutritious parts of the animal. I feel so grateful! I simply fried thin slivers of heart and tongue in some beef fat, to be honest they taste so much like steak, I really enjoyed them. I also gently fried the brains in some butter, BUT, for the first time in my life I actually ate a few brain pieces raw. There are quite a few people who swear by eating raw brains, not only for nutritional purposes, but also for the taste, so I gave it a try, and I have to say, I was surprised! They taste like walnuts combined with butter - really yummy actually! I’m an early morning person. -I’m one of those people who pops right out of bed in a good mood, and while I LOVE coffee…I don’t really need coffee to get my day started. - - 2. While I love to write, speak about things that I’m passionate about and put my energy out into the world, I’m definitely more of a listener than talker. I’m an introvert at heart.💗 - 3. My favorite food is corn. Corn chips, corn tortillas, Elotè, fried creamed corn, Mexican corn salad- I don’t discriminate, I love it all. If there’s one food that I miss most on keto, that would be corn! I make sure to sneak it in every once in a while😉 - 4. I hate under seasoned food…if it’s not seasoned, I’d rather not eat it! - 5. I am captivated by people who are naturally great at speaking or storytelling. I think it’s so impressive to me because this is an area where I fall short. - 6. I’m not good at making popcorn, somehow I burn it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Good thing I went Keto👌🏻 - 7. I failed with weight loss more times than I can count, but I never gave up on myself. This time I’ve got a inflammation on my balance nerve ( I seriously don’t know the English name for it ) and it makes me so dizzy and nauseous that I hardly function for everyday life... Last night I couldn’t even sleep cause I felt so sick, world was spinning just like when you’ve had to much to drink. And that’s the main reason I don’t drink alcohol cause I don’t like that feeling ... So... jokes on me.. A time to reset. A couple weeks ago we went on vacation as a family to reset after a very busy season and to hash out our dreams for the coming year. Sometimes with food it’s the same. So right now I reset. 2 weeks of no alcohol, refined sugar, certain grains and lots of quality nutritious fruits, veggies and proteins. The question is: Are supermarket smoothies as healthy as freshly made smoothies from a smoothie bar or homemade smoothies? The answer is clearly no! Industrially produced smoothies can not compete with the fresh and home-made smoothies. They are full of sugar (about 13 g per 100 milliliters) and contain hardly any nutrients, as they are heated up during processing to be longer-lasting. In addition, no whole fruits are used in the production, but usually only fruit puree or vegetable powder. Due to the double processing of the ingredients at least twice as many nutrients are lost. Price-wise, industrial smoothies can not compete. If you make the same amount of smoothie yourself, it will be much cheaper. The conclusion is very clear: do it yourself instead of buying! Tastes better, is much healthier and even cheaper!
