Meet recap time. I got 2nd in my weight class. 24/27 white lights only due to my scratching my third squat. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Squat topped at 363lbs. Current max. Spotter jumped me and I got a redo which I got easy but I scratched my 3rd attempt due to how exhausting it all was. - Bench I opened with a 16lb meet PR of 226lbs then hit 242lbs which is a 32lb meet PR and 7lb lifetime PR. - Deadlifts werent supposed to PR today but I ended up PRing it by 7lbs at 359lbs. 966lb total. Overall my total has gone up 37lbs in 3 months which feels good considering how out of it I was mentally for most of the prep. ⌚️Some bulk updates ⬇️ - Lost some definition in my back, but I definitely gained some muscle and density considering it’s still quite lean compared to summer.😏 I’m currently 13kg heavier than my summer physique where I was very very lean. 😦🍔 - The main exercises I’m doing for my back right now are ; deadlifts, weighted pull ups and barbell rows. 🙌🏻That’s all you need, 3 compound movements that provide enough volume and intensity to stimulate muscle growth.❤️ - I vary the reps and sets every training session.
