I am beautiful, I am strong, I am worthy. Recently I’ve felt under attack with my thoughts again, I’ve found myself looking in mirrors constantly and hating what I see. Even my reflection in shop windows is starting to give me anxiety. Instead of speaking lies over myself every time I see myself, I have started to repeat these three things, and wow what a world of difference it is making/has made. I haven’t done a #transformationtuesday in awhile. I honestly thought I needed to lose 15-20 lbs in the pic on the left. I was running 7-8 miles at least five times a week, and I was afraid of weights because I didn’t want to get “too bulky.” I think many people prefer the body on the left, but I’m much happier in and significantly more proud of the body on the right and all the things it can do. The first time I picked up a barbell was almost exactly four years ago. It’s taken time, tremendous effort, and consistency for me to change my body from that to this; it is still changing. Weekly Accountability - Week 3 . So I want to talk about a few things that you can expect when losing weight that even I still forget and let get to me sometimes. . 1. Non linear progress. It is EXPECTED that your weight will go up and down throughout the week. With this being said, I still recommend weighing in daily at the same time every morning before food. This is so you can track your average weekly progress and ensure that your weight is on a downwards trend. . 2. Being HONEST with yourself. These past 3 weeks Ive only dropped 2lbs. I could say I dont understand Ive been doing so well but if I look back I know I have been snacking around 300 calories above my calories which is something I have to focus on and not let happen. . 3. It is going to be tough, frustrating and annoying sometimes. There are good weeks and there are bad weeks but you have to keep pushing nonetheless. So many times Ive gotten trapped in a cycle of doing bad one night and letting it turn into three bad days. There is absolutely no need for this so try your best to stay positive mentally and remember patience is key. . Left: 240lbs Right: 238lbs Lets keep pushing 💪💯

Anteriormente era un fanático de los entrenamientos de fuerza, pero sin una alimentación ni planificación adecuada me encontraba estancado y en pésima forma. · Esta primera fase de a penas mes y medio intentamos dar un poco de forma al cuerpo, eliminando el exceso de grasa general y entrenando un poco los músculos menos desarrollados de manera aislada. · Esta fase consiste en la mayor pérdida de grasa posible, pero manteniendo la masa muscular. Lo cual se consigue con un déficit calórico (comer menos kcal de las que gastas al cabo del día) con una alta cantidad de proteínas. Hay muchos más factores a tener en cuenta, pero este es el pilar fundamental sobre el que gira esta fase. · Realmente mis sensaciones fueron buenas, lejos de pasar hambre o sentirme cansado, me sentía muy eufórico viendo los resultados. Es cierto que perdí mucha fuerza durante esta fase, pero durante el volumen he podido acercarme de nuevo a mis picos anteriores. Es la vez que más baja he tenido mi cantidad de grasa corporal, pero este año que viene pretendo bajarla más manteniendo toda la masa muscular ganada desde entonces. · Veremos qué tal sale, tengo muchas ganas de ver el resultado en verano de todo lo trabajado este año.
