WANT TONED ARMS ⁉️ TRY THIS‼️👇 Featured: Chest Supported Row 👉 WHY!? 🤔 Increase upper body strength & improve posture without the stress on your lower back And to get those “TONED” arms 👉 HOW TO!? 🧐 💥 Adjust bench to about a 30-45 degree angle 💥 With a neutral grip, retract shoulders (think about bringing shoulders to your back pocket) and row weight up into ribcage until you feel your lats and mid back fully contracted 💥 Pause for a second and then slowly lower weights back down to start position 💥 As with ALL exercises, focus on creating tension throughout entire movement by gripping tight on the weight and squeezing lats and mid back as you row 💥 Don’t forget to make your double chin to keep your neck and spine in a neutral line 🔑 🎁 Perform 3 sets of 10-12 reps 😘 — #strengthtrain #makeitahabit

#TrainingTipTuesdayMM: Half Press . The Half Press is a movement that should definitely be added to your arsenal if it’s not already. Just like the Pike Pull Through helps develop the Planche, the Half Press helps develop the Press Handstand . The most difficult part of the Press Handstand is the initial push off the ground from the bottom position. This position is exactly what the Half Press trains so intensely. By pressing up as HIGH as possible, you can improve your strength at that bottom press position and build up toward Press Handstand gains! . There are several variations you can use to improve your pressing strength . The first variation is used against a solid object like a wall or stacked mats. Your feet rest against the object and provide help as you press. Try to get your toes ALL the way up to the top so they’re near your hands. The higher, the better. You can even “walk” your toes up a bit with help then “slide” down SLOWLY to increase the range of motion and strength and build up your ability to press . The second variation removes the wall and has you do this between two objects. This makes the movement harder since you don’t have any help and is great for building Stalders and Full Pike Presses! . For both variations, focus on hip height. Getting your hips as high as possible is most important. As you get stronger, this will provide you with a solid foundation for Press Handstands, Stalders, and Pike Presses! . Give it a try and get on the Gain Train! I’m so proud of myself for focusing on what I can do! Before surgery my Personal Best of a Tricep Extension was 8kg. Today 3months post op, my Personal Best is now 10kg! 💪 Thankful that my dad drops me off at my gym @fernwoodmaroochydore @fernwoodfitness while I’m still in the process of getting back to driving & coming off crutches. Thank you to the amazing staff at fernwood for helping me get the bench, since this one I’m using is the only one I can use at the moment because of my hip recovery.
