Delete and repost in black and white bc this is how this cold weather makes me feel #emooooo I figured since I’m currently learning some interesting stuff, once a week I want to share this information to inform you guys too :) There are different phases of training based on YOUR current goals. If you’re interested in strength level training, your main focus is to maintain stabilization endurance while increasing prime mover strength. IE: performing two exercises in a superset sequence--- first exercise is performed in a stable environment (think bodyweight squat), second exercise is performed in a less stable environment (squat on a bosu ball) What this accomplishes: works the prime movers predominantly to elicit prime mover strength…. then challenges stabilization muscles -improves work capacity, joint stabilization Phase 2 of Strength Training: Hypertrophy -designed for individuals who have a goal of muscle growth -this would be accomplished by performing high volumes, moderate to high loads, and moderate or low repetitions (6-12) I found this pretty interesting, being as not everyones’s goal when entering the gym is to put on muscle mass. Even more interesting— Hypertrophy follows Strength level training… meaning joint stabilization should be accomplished before putting on muscle :) keWL

Some Handstand Press-ups and weighted Pull-ups from this evening. 🔶️ I had 20 mins to kill so I took a notion to build up to a heavy 3RM on Pull Ups and deficit HSPUs. Managed 40kg x3 on the pull-ups and 5 plates (different sizes) for the HSPUs. 🔶️ Felt there was more there so just keep going with the the deficit until failure. Pretty happy with how high I went! 🔶️ Finished off with some kipping practice!

Fat loss is a PROCESS ❗️❗️It is a long yet beautiful process. Transformations do not happen in a week or does NOT happen in 1 month! • Now, you can start seeing results in as soon as a week with .5-2 lbs weigh loss but a real full body transformation takes months! • My transformation was about finding the competitive me with a large side of being a Mommy! QUICK SHOULDER BLASTER 💥 I decided to record this workout once I was already done- phew! So my strength and form is was 💩 Anyways, here ya go! Keep the intensity high, and never lose your mind to muscle connection. 1) Dumbbell Shoulder Press 2) Wide Arnold Press | These help alleviate my shoulder pain w/ less ROM) 3) Shoulder Press w/ Neutral Grip 4) Incline Barbell Front Raise In Prone Position | The key to this exercise is to envision pulling forward and away, while squeezing at the top of the motion. 5) Straight Bar Front Raises dropset ⬇️ 6) BURNOUT 🔥 | Hold these for 5 seconds at the top, complete a quick rep then hold again. Repeat until failure.

I really liked the set up of this one- It took a little different route than some of my other full body workouts- I hope you all enjoy it! Here’s how it goes: • • • After completing the first movement you will go back and add the next movement every round. My client and buddy Jason has one hell of an inspiring story. . This is a guy who knew he needed to turn his life around, and he used strength training and my 1-1 coaching as the foundation for that. . I’m honored to have played a tiny role in his transformation, and glad I was able to witness him go through this metamorphosis. . He was also kind enough to share some of his story below. And he even says some nice things about me 😝. . Enter, Jason: . “About 8 months ago, I was going through a big transition in my life. It was not an easy one either. I knew I needed to make a big change in my life but didnt have any idea where to start. . Up to that point, I had never been one to go to the gym or be physically active in any way. Monster walks 🍑. Trabajo de activación del glúteo mayor previo a comenzar mi rutina de pierna. 3 series de 20-24 pasos. 12-10 pasos con cada pierna. No puede gustarme más este ejercicio. Porque a pesar de su simpleza y de que pueda parecer que hace más bien poco la activación y congestión que se consigue es brutal. Tenéis que probarlo. Algunos consejos a la hora de ejecutar los monster walks: 👉🏻La colocación de la banda es importante ya que la implicación muscular cambia en función de dónde se coloque la resistencia.
